It is time to speak up!

It's time for President Bush to step up and show that he is the conservative that the United States voted him in as. He promised to defend America:

"Three days after September the 11th, I stood where Americans died, in the ruins of the twin towers.

Workers in hard hats were shouting to me, "Whatever it takes." A fellow grabbed me by the arm, and he said, "Do not let me down." Since that day, I wake up every morning thinking about how to better protect our country. I will never relent in defending America -- whatever it takes."

...and defend life:

"Every child born and unborn ought to be protected"

During the debates with John Kerry though he made some unusual comments:

"Embryonic stem cell research requires the destruction of life. I'm the first president ever to allow federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. I did so because I, too, hope that we'll discover cures from the stem cells. But we've got to be very careful in balancing the ethics and the science. And so I made the decision we wouldn't spend any more money beyond the 70 lines, 22 of which are now in action, because science is important, but so is ethics, so is balancing life. "

He was saying "I'm against embryonic stem cell research but I'm the first president to fund it".

The kind of comment that makes you want to scream!

Another comment that President Bush made was "I don't think the culture has changed to the extent that the American people or the Congress would totally ban abortions,".

Now is the time where find out where President Bush believes the culture of America is. Replacing Justice O'Connor will be one of the biggest changes in our Supreme Court in many years because she drifted to the left. Her swing vote has cost America dearly in many cases, including:

> She supported McCain-Feingold
> She "allowed taxpayers to sue states to challenge tax credits that benefit religious schools"
> "O'Connor's opinion upheld the use of affirmative action in college admissions."
> On abortion - "she voted to uphold a woman's right to end a pregnancy and emphasized, in an opinion with Kennedy and Souter, how long women had relied on the Roe ruling."

Statements above came from the USA Today article "O'Connor not confined by conservatism" at http://www.usatoday.com/news/washington/2004-06-23-oconnor-usat_x.htm.

Her replacement will be the swing vote in many modern issues. We lost the Republican majority because over the years she abandoned her more conservative views. We now have a chance to get it back.

If President Bush puts a proDeath replacement in place, Roe v. Wade and the continued murder of thousands of human beings in America will be secure for years to come.

It will be anyway unless we speak up...loudly!

Go to http://www.marchtogether.com. Call and/or email your representatives every day until a person is picked. Let them know you want a proLife representative to replace Justice O'Connor. That's all you have to say.

Then on July 8th, head back to http://www.marchtogether.com/ for the monthly call for life. Do this every month until abortion is stopped in America.

Speak up, Speak out and TakeAction! Though talking about abortion is important, talk by itself is cheap. Things will only change when you decide to take part in that change.

Sitting on the sidelines doing nothing is weak and selfish.

Go to http://www.marchtogether.com to get started, and pass the word on to everyone you know. Challenge your friends and family to stand up for life.
