We are the grassroots
I work with many Pro-Life organizations, individuals & bloggers. Most say we have to get to the grassroots. I tell them to start blogging & communicating with bloggers, because the MSM isn't going to do us any favors.
When was the last time you saw the MSM broadcast a save at an abortion mill? I would be willing to bet there are dozens every week, but they're not as interested in showing Life successes as they are in defending the abortion movement and making it seem as if we are psycho idiots who want to take away a "woman's right to choose".
Friends of Life, not only do we need to get on the phones, send emails & protest/pray at government buildings & abortion mills, we have to unite & help each other make it happen.
I know we are seeing Pro-Life successes around the country, but this can all go away in the blink of an eye. There is no Federal law protecting human life, before birth, during life or when we are ill. There is a Pro-Life bill proposed, H.R. 552, but unless it is passed, we can expect all Pro-Life legislation to be challenged and overturned.
Why shouldn't they be overturned? After all, if there is a law that says a woman has a right to an abortion, don't expect states to succeed in ending abortion. Not gonna happen.
Let me add to this. When Pro-Life legislation is overturned, it will be challenged with even stronger pro-death legislation. They will want to solidify their position and will throw everything they have at it.
Who is going to make this happen?
> Planned Parenthood - Profits? They make about $275 million dollars from taxpayer dollars, another $275 million from abortions & about $275 million from individual contributions.
> N.O.W. - National Organization for Women - Massive bucks, non-profit organization, pro-abortion
> George Soros & other pro-abortion individuals/organizations. Where do you think the $275 million dollars comes from every year to Planned Parenthood?
> The ACLU - They will make this a civil rights issue & they will be massively funded. Their legal team will gladly spin up for the most powerful fund raiser in the history of their organization.
The pro-aborts have billions and billions of dollars on their side. (yeah, if Carl Sagan were alive, he'd be on their side too)
They are not going to go away quietly.
So we come back to the main point, we are the grassroots & we have momentum! The grassroots have elected Pro-Life individuals around the country and we have supported Pro-Life legislation and efforts wherever possible.
