Bill Frist comes out
No, he's not a homosexual, but judging from his remarks today he is struggling with his identity.

Frist stated "Now is the time to expand the president's policy because it's promising research, but it must be done in a way that is ethically considerate, that respects the dignity of human life,".
"The senator said only stem cells from embryos that "would otherwise be discarded" should be considered for research."
I believe many doctors can suffer from an ethics problem.
According to Frist, "Almost two-thirds of Americans say they support embryonic stem cell research and a majority of people say they would like to see fewer restrictions on taxpayer funding for those studies, according to recent polls."
If most people knew that embryonic stem cell research really meant killing people for research I don't think so many would vote in that direction.
In my opinion, America suffers from three problems:
1) Misinformation - unintentional or intentional
2) Disinformation - intentional
3) Lack of information - personal intentional or unintentional
Misinformation
Our schools and the media provide us with incorrect information/knowledge/education which they purport to be factual. Often this isn't the case and it can take years to undo the damage inflicted on the knowledge of the population. Examples include global warming theories, evolution theories, birth control theories, stem cell theories and fetus theories.
Fetus theories? Years ago the pro abortion crowd sold the public on the notion that a fetus wasn't a human being. They called it a "blob of tissue". This allowed generations of people to turn their heads away from the most horrible act in all of mankind, the killing of our children inside the womb.
Until recently politicians and pro abortion debaters only used the words zygote, blastocyst and fetus to describe a human being in the woman. Today they openly say "child" or "person" without hesitancy.
The lies that were perpetuated in the 70s gave birth (no pun intended) to the concept that a woman should have a right to choose whether or not to keep her child. Roe v. Wade solidified that concept with a ruling on "right to privacy" laws. How was America duped into believing all the lies about abortion that were told back then?
Disinformation
David Kupelian wrote in his article "How lying marketers sold Roe v. Wade to America":
---------------------------
The original abortion-rights slogans from the early '70s – they remain virtual articles of faith and rallying cries of the "pro-choice" movement to this day – were "Freedom of choice" and "Women must have control over their own bodies."
"I remember laughing when we made those slogans up," recalls Bernard Nathanson, M.D., co-founder of pro-abortion vanguard group NARAL, reminiscing about the early days of the abortion-rights movement in the late '60s and early '70s. "We were looking for some sexy, catchy slogans to capture public opinion. They were very cynical slogans then, just as all of these slogans today are very, very cynical."
Besides having served as chairman of the executive committee of NARAL – originally, the National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws, and later renamed the National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League – as well as its medical committee, Nathanson was one of the principal architects and strategists of the abortion movement in the United States. He tells an astonishing story.
Changing the law on abortion
"In 1968 I met Lawrence Lader," says Nathanson. "Lader had just finished a book called 'Abortion,' and in it had made the audacious demand that abortion should be legalized throughout the country. I had just finished a residency in obstetrics and gynecology and was impressed with the number of women who were coming into our clinics, wards and hospitals suffering from illegal, infected, botched abortions.
"Lader and I were perfect for each other. We sat down and plotted out the organization now known as NARAL. With Betty Friedan, we set up this organization and began working on the strategy."
"We persuaded the media that the cause of permissive abortion was a liberal, enlightened, sophisticated one," recalls the movement's co-founder. "Knowing that if a true poll were taken, we would be soundly defeated, we simply fabricated the results of fictional polls. We announced to the media that we had taken polls and that 60 percent of Americans were in favor of permissive abortion.
This is the tactic of the self-fulfilling lie.
Few people care to be in the minority. We aroused enough sympathy to sell our program of permissive abortion by fabricating the number of illegal abortions done annually in the U.S. The actual figure was approaching 100,000, but the figure we gave to the media repeatedly was 1 million.
"Repeating the big lie often enough convinces the public. The number of women dying from illegal abortions was around 200-250 annually. The figure we constantly fed to the media was 10,000. These false figures took root in the consciousness of Americans, convincing many that we needed to crack the abortion law.
"Another myth we fed to the public through the media was that legalizing abortion would only mean that the abortions taking place illegally would then be done legally. In fact, of course, abortion is now being used as a primary method of birth control in the U.S. and the annual number of abortions has increased by 1,500 percent since legalization."
--------------------------
We Americans need to stop paying attention to polls when it comes to matters of common sense, morality and decency.
> If a person urinates in public that's indecent.
> If people have sex in public that's indecent.
> If you shoot someone that's immoral.
> If you hurt or rape a child, that's immoral.
> If you have an abortion, that's murder.
> If you burp at the dinner table that's rude.
These are things that are given. How can it be when people know abortion is the killing of a human being, they are willing to turn their backs on it.
Senator Frist also said "It's not just a matter of faith, it's a matter of science,".
I'm sorry, I believe faith, human dignity and morality come before science Mr. Frist. You "scientists" scare the heck out of me when you talk like that.
Lack of information
There is no doubt Americans suffer from a lack of information, but it's not the way you might think. Many of us choose not to pay attention to things that are uncomfortable. I was told about the "three don'ts" years ago.
In case you don't know, they are:
Don't talk about politics, religion and abortion.
I have written about this absurd statement in the past. The three most important topics in our lives and yet we have to stay silent about them because people find it difficult to discuss and debate them.
Obviously because of this "rule" many struggle with all three. So many people say politicians are all crooked, religions are for fruitcakes and abortion is a private issue. Everywhere you turn, Republicans and Democrats alike say "I don't agree with it (abortion) but what others want to do is not my business, and I don't have a right to tell a woman what to do with her body".
Well, not everywhere. Fortunately most Republicans, approximately 90% of them vote proLife. Unfortunately most Democrats, approximately 90% of them vote for abortion, even late term abortions, all the way up to 9 months.
If you think I'm one of those people who believe that we have to "change the hearts and minds of the public" so we can deal with abortion, you've come to the wrong place. I won't candy coat a thing & if you run from our site you do so because you can't handle the truth.
Are you doing something to help end abortion? If you know abortion is murder and you do nothing to stop it you are turning your back on it. You are allowing people to die because you don't want to take the time to do something.
Over 4,000 people a day have been killed for over 30 years. Though the exact number is not known, we know there have been at least 40 million people killed by abortion.
If need be, convince yourself and convince others it's time for abortion to end.
Join us at http://www.marchtogether.com and help bring an end to abortion. Don't allow yourself or your friends and family to hide from the topic because it's "uncomfortable".
Do everything you can to help stop abortion so that when your time comes you will feel happy knowing you did the best you could.
My daughter here was once a "fetus" as were all of you and your children.
