Right to Life Act

Ultimately what it will take to challenge abortion in America is a Right to Life Act. It just so happens there is already one in the works!

H.R. 552 was submitted in February of 2005 by Rep. Duncan Hunter [R-CA] as the `Right to Life Act' and it states:

"To implement equal protection for the right to life of each born and preborn human person, and pursuant to the duty and authority of the Congress, including Congress' power under article I, section 8, to make necessary and proper laws, and Congress' power under section 5 of the 14th article of amendment to the Constitution of the United States, the Congress hereby declares that the right to life guaranteed by the Constitution is vested in each human being."

Remember, even if Roe vs Wade is overturned, the legal issue of abortion goes back to the states. We don't want that to happen. When Roe is overturned it must be backed up with a Right to Life act.
