Pro-Life Unity

Do you have action efforts that you need to promote?  Do you have a web site or blog that can help get Action Calls out to the people who might respond to them?

There are many organizations and projects which require spreading the word in a timely manner to the public, but the problem is, we all have different site designs and we can't all respond to the need to post an Action Call as quickly as some would like us to, or we just have a lot to do & can't get to it right away.

What is the solution for those who need to get out the Action Calls and for those who might want to help get the word out?  At ProLifeUnity.com we have code which will help all of us.  Our Action Code will allow you to maintain the look & feel of your site, while ensuring that Action Calls go out as quickly as possible.

One single post automatically goes out to all member sites as soon as you click submit.  When the page is refreshed or visited on a member site the Action Call is visible.

Imagine 1,000,000 web sites all participating in this effort.  Imagine when one single Action Call gets in front of millions of eyes in a split second.  Go to prolifeunity.com & check out what we have to offer & how we can help not only those who want to post Action Calls, but those of us who can help them.

If you have a web site or a blog, please consider helping the unborn in one of the most simple ways possible.  Email us at signup@prolifeunity.com or click here to go to our mission page & read more about this effort.

Unite with us.  We will succeed in challenging the culture of death through Pro-Life Unity & Action.

Letter of Regret

This is an anonymous letter from a post abortive woman to WAKEUP ( Woman Against the Killing and Exploitation of Unprotected Persons, INC.) WAKEUP produced the brochure, I REGRET MY ABORTION, that the woman refers to in her letter.

Dear Reader,

I am not sure who you are, but I needed to get this out ...I feel like I'm about to explode. I was in my office and I came across one of your brochures and I just wanted to express how important I think it is to have a mission such as yours ...for the life of my baby, I wish I had considered an alternative option to abortion.

It has been six years since my abortion and this is the first time that I have ever spoken (well ...written) about it. All these years I have been ashamed and philologically messed up because of that decision. I saw on the cover of one of your brochures a young lady expressing that having an abortion burned a hole in her soul and changed her forever ...and I feel the same way. IT HAS BEEN THE WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE. Not a day goes by that I do not think about my baby and what he or she would have looked like or what he or she would be doing ...I often have dreams about my baby ...not just as a baby, but as he grows (it's always boy in my dreams), about him talking, or walking and playing ...and it hurts beyond words knowing that it's just a dream and i will never experience it. I think what hurts the most is the fact that I actually saw my baby... at least the partially developed parts ... it is a picture I cannot ever get out of my head...

I often see women or parents with their babies and I am so overcome with grief and remorse that it becomes hard to breath. I just wish I had some guidance and was presented with an alternative decision back then. But I wasn't ...my father told me I had to do it and there was nothing I could do.

I was just a stupid child ...hadn't thought of myself that way (in though and especially not in my actions) ...but on that day I knew that's what I was.

I feel as if I am incapable of moving on and my desire to have kids is nonexistent, as I don't possibly see how I could make a good mother after doing that. Even now, I feel so empty and lonely inside ...I have not had a boyfriend since then and I often think about just running away `from my life.' I feel like I have no one... and because of my emotional state I am not able to maintain healthy/normal relationships.

I wish I could take it all back. I wish that I could just undue that October morning and have my baby ...have my life back. I wish I could change it all ...and knowing that I can't makes me feel so hopeless. I wish I could just tell every young woman considering this that if they think having an abortion is an end to a `mistake' that they made---they are DEAD WRONG!! It is the beginning of a lifetime of regrets and that decision will be the `mistake' that will forever occupy their mind and heart. It is a heart breaking decision that will live with you forever ...and so having an
abortion is really not an END at all....

I implore you to continue this effort ...I don't want to be judged or labeled a hypocrite because I made that mistake ...I am paying for that decision daily and I just want others to know that they don't have to do the same. Please do whatever it takes to get my story ...no, my mistake out there, so hopefully others won't do the same.

Regretfully Yours,

T.

New Call For Life Effort On April The 8th

Are you Pro-Life? What more can you do to help end abortion and challenge the culture of death?

As usual, on Friday the 7th of April we will have the nationwide Monthly Call for Life.

On Saturday the 8th of April from 10:00 am till noon, we are starting our new effort called The Saturday Call For Life. Every month on the first Saturday we will picket a local abortion mill, or hospital where abortions are performed, from 10:00 am till noon.

Why Saturday?

Saturday is the day when more people can physically participate in outdoor Action Calls. Also, students have off from school and many people don't have to work.

Every 30 seconds or so another human being is killed in the United States of America. Over three thousand people will not see the light of day today and every day until we end the horror of abortion.

What are the things we do in our battle against abortion?

> Pray
> Debate
> Protest
> Use signs
> Outreach
> Crisis pregnancy
> Cross our fingers
> Insert yours here
> Legal battles

These are all good things (though I don't think crossing your fingers is going to do much good) but there is something more that we can all do. We can speak for the unborn. We can be their voice. We can cry out for them. All the things that I have listed are good but it cannot end there.

We must do more, and often.

Unite with us once a month on the first Friday and the first Saturday.

On Friday we call our representatives, send them an e-mail, and/or March on a government building or abortion clinic.

On Saturday we march on a local abortion clinic or hospital which is performing abortions.

Participate in both of these efforts, for they are each equally important.

Go to MarchTogether.com for more information. We help you figure out who to call, when to call and what you might want to say.

Sign up for the newsletter/reminder. Then, tell at least one more person to join you for the next Call for Life.

Remember, they only have us to speak for them, and if we don't, they die in absolute silence.

Defend Life Today - March 17th - Washington D.C.

Warriors for Life will be at Dupont Circle from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. Last week we invaded their utopia while hundreds were out in the sun. Many people flock to the park to hide from reality. Unfortunately for them, we were there with our GAP signs to show them that the reality of abortion kills human beings.

IMG_8920.jpg

Do you Defend Life? Blogs are good, talking is good, voting is good, but none of that is enough. Over 3,000 human beings will be killed by abortion today. The unborn need your presence. They have nobody to march for them except for us.

Every day I ask myself, "have I done all I can?".

Call Maryland Senator Roy Dyson

Call Senator Dyson & let him know that we are disappointed in him for ending the fillibuster which might have saved many lives.

This just made its way to me through the Knights of Columbus of Maryland, from the Christian Coalition of Maryland:

I regret to inform you that Senator Roy Dyson just voted in favor of ending debate on the SB 144, the Maryland Stem Cell Research Act of 2006. With only 18 voting to continue debate, the filibuster is over. It is nearly certain now that your tax dollars will be used to fund research involving the killing of human embryos.

I believe Senator Dyson was labeled as one of the "brave Senators" who were going to stand up against the culture of death. Though he is a Democrat, who traditionally vote for the culture of death, his record up to this point has been Pro-Life for many years.

I get the feeling some political or financial lubrication has taken place which helped him slide over to the culture of death.

Folks, we need to ring Senator Dyson's phone off the hook & flood his email with our reaction to this! Embryonic stem cell research has not yielded one single benefit to mankind and is responsible for the deaths of many.

Maryland March for Life & Embryonic Stem Cell Research Bill

The Maryland March for Life was held yesterday in Annapolis. About 1,000 people united for Pro-Life solidarity.

Present were many of the 19 Senators who oppose the Maryland embryonic stem cell research bill, as well as other national and local Pro-Life individuals and organizations.

The House of Delegates passed the bill today, March 7th, but the Pro-Life Senators of Maryland have promised to fillibuster the bill to stop it from coming to a vote.

I wasn't able to go all the way back to my house & pick up my equipment so the pics were taken with a mini digital that I carry with me. The quality isn't the best, but it's better than nothing, & the videos turned out good.

The theme this year was "Life w/o Roe".

Stephen G. Peroutka, Esq. gave the keynote address.

Jack Ames from Defend Life was there as well helping to stir up the crowd.

We ended the event with the singing of God Bless America (followed by a prayer of course), after which the masses flowed into the government buildings to let the representatives know that we are ready for them to end abortion and resist funding for embryonic research.

Keep up the action efforts one & all!

Maryland March For Life - Feb 6th - 6:30 pm

There have been many great Pro-Life successes lately.

Let's keep the momentum going!

Guns & Pills

La Shawn Barber pointed out the idiotic law that forces Wall-Mart to dispense the morning after pill.

Article

It's unbelievable that a state can force us to participate in immoral acts, expecially those that kill people! Next they'll say that we can allow group sex in a bar with minors. Oh yeah, Canada already does that.

What do you think is going to happen when people who work there refuse to sell pills which are known to kill human beings? Will they get fired? Will they have to quit?

Nurses, doctors and others around the country are forced to participate in the murder of millions of human beings. We need to demand an end to this!

Join us at MarchTogether.com in the Monthly Call for Life. Don't just sit there, call, email and/or march on the first Friday of every month and let our representatives know we want them to stop abortion and their support for products which kill innocent human beings.

Don't just pray. Don't just donate. Don't just blog. Don't just talk to your friends.

The unborn need you to do more.
