CWFA Article

What does the mainstream media believe represents great virtues in a woman?

"Jane highlights a 29-year-old-woman who makes her own clothes so that she doesn't patronize sweatshops and a 28-year-old who cooks without supporting industrial hog farms. Another "extraordinary" woman doesn't date anyone who shops at WalMart. A 23-year-old won't kiss a guy who eats meat or smokes."
CWA has different ideas about what makes a woman stand out.

CWA set out to find women whose contributions make the world a better place and we had a very difficult time narrowing down to a dozen choices. Our women range in age, locale, occupation and in numerous other ways are very different from each other, but they all share a commitment to Biblical Christianity and all are pro-life, pro-marriage, and pro-family. These are women whose deep faith is reflected in their priorities, their lifestyles and in their contributions to the world around them.
I think their standards are a little higher than those seeking "great" women who can eat the most hot dogs.

Abortion won't end if...

...we make it illegal.

This is a point that often comes up and one that I have written about a few times.

This is a point that often comes up, and one that I have written about a few times. I always say that this is not the point and we shouldn't try to make it the point.

Murder is wrong and it doesn't stop just because it is illegal right? How about stealing? Laws are there to help us understand and teach right from wrong. Laws give us moral borders of understanding and sharing this world with other human beings. Unless we have laws, morality is worthless.

You'll have to excuse me for bringing in the Ten Commandments, but they help make my argument. The first 4 are directly related to how we should respect God. The rest of them tell us things we should do for ourselves.

> Honor thy Father and thy Mother
> Thou shalt not kill
> Thou shalt not commit adultery
> Thou shalt not steal
> Thou shalt not bear false witness against they neighbor
> Thou shalt not covet

How many of these are laws in America? The middle 4 could land you in jail or in a lawsuit right? Why bother with those laws? Aren't they "God's" laws?

I know we have to deal with the "hearts and minds" of people as far as abortion is concerned, but we don't keep abortion legal while we're doing that do we? If so, then let's make murder, adultery, stealing and everything else legal.

Some say that we people of faith need to teach our children right from wrong, and that our children should learn right from wrong, regardless of what our society is doing/teaching. I agree, but if you don't have a system of laws in society you can expect to be robbed, hurt and/or killed.

Example - Pagans, witches and devil worshippers have rituals and practices that you can't even imagine. Have you ever heard of voodoo? Human sacrifices and other horrible acts are still practiced around the world. Here is a simple "voodoo spell" I found when looking up pagan rituals:

"Wreck vengeance on the person who has wronged you, allowing them little sleep, implanting fear of you in their mind, bringing peace and respect back into your life."
Human sacrifice continues around the world and I'm sure it would be much more prevalent if it weren't for laws forbidding the practice.

"For the magic to work, the killing had to be done just right. If the goddess were to grant Khudu Karmakar the awesome powers he expected from a virgin's death, the victim had to be willing, had to know what was happening, watch the knife, and not stop it. But even tranquilizers couldn't lull 15-year-old Manju Kumari to her fate. In his police confession, Karmakar says his wife, daughter and three accomplices had to gag Manju and pin her down on the earthen floor before the shrine. In ritual order, Karmakar wafted incense over her, tore off her blue skirt and pink T shirt, shaved her, sprinkled her with holy water from the Ganges and rubbed her with cooking fat. Then chanting mantras to the "mother" goddess Kali, he sawed off Manju's hands, breasts and left foot, placing the body parts in front of a photograph of a blood-soaked Kali idol. Police say the arcs of blood on the walls suggest Manju bled to death in minutes."
Time Article

So many people assume that if we don't have Judeo/Christian morals we will have neutrality. I guarantee you that is far from true.

People must be taught that abortion is murder, but they won't believe you as long as it is legal!

We must make abortion illegal and we must figure out ways to help women understand that killing their children is not a good thing to do.

Join us in the Monthly March for Life at MarchTogether.com. We email, call and/or march to let our representatives know that we want them to make abortion illegal. Through Pro-Life unity we will get louder and louder until the media no longer is able to keep us quiet.

What it's all about

I'm sitting here tapping away on my notebook, getting ready to go out & buy a last minute gift for my wife. It's Christmas eve and around the world people are ready to celerate one of the biggest birthdays in the history of mankind, the birth of Christ. What is significant about the birth of Jesus Christ?

Well, it's not just that he is the son of God, it's also that he sacrificed himself for our sins. Before Jesus walked the earth, only the Jews were able to benefit from the glory of God. All the other people were known as Gentiles. The birth of Jesus changed all that & now God is available to everyone.

So what's it all about? It's about the saving grace of God. It's about a child that was born 2,000 years ago. A child who would save all of mankind.

When it comes to gifts, none trumps the one that God gave us. He gave us his one and only begotten son.

I got involved in the Pro-Life movement to help save God's children. The way I look at it, we are God's children helping to save his children. Bless all of you who have taken up this mission, this ministry. It is a difficult one. One without financial reward and comes with plenty of frustrations. It is also a labor of love that I believe we are blessed with. He has selected us to speak out for his children who are killed in America at a rate of around 4,000 every single day.

God Bless everyone and Merry Christmas!

Last Post on SCNT Research

I have had a back & forth on SCNT with Ray for a few days now & I have presented both sides of the story. I understand why a person would want to believe SCNT doesn't harm anyone, but it comes down to a fundamental difference between us.

Here are latest reponses from Ray:

Dear "Pro-Life Guy": If you google me (rayilynlee) you will learn I have been writing about SCNT for almost 5 years. When I last looked there were 7 pages of references, one a 'Crime Against Humanity"which I will forward you if the page is not available, it is old and was a column in The Californian, North County Times

Meanwhile, University of Louisville scientists have developed VELs or embryo-like cells from bone marrow This will probably still not satisfy opponents of hESCR because the cells are "embryo-like". By the way, the blastocysts under discussion are microscopic, 4-5 day old undifferentiated 128 cells that are pluripotent, meaning they can become anything, unlike adult stem cells which are already differentiated. Cord blood is only useful for blood disorders. Scientists also think SCNT would avoid the organ rejection problem since they consists of the patient's own cells. Plus we need to study how cells behave, not people, to learn the causes of diseases.

And finally:

I really thought you were open to education, but this section was really offensive:

"You are right. Scientists should not be doing "God's work". Godless people will look to man for solutions. These scientists might help people live a little bit longer, with less pain, but in the end, they can't give us everlasting life in the Kingdom of Heaven. This extreme evil that is going on in the labs of America today is an example of man gone wild. We are living in the culture of "The Lord of the Flies", and soon, people who speak out against this evil will be rounded up and locked away for "hate crimes" for doing so."

You well people think we who suffer just don't want to die. There is such a thing as quality of life which you take for granted. Some "pro-lifers" believe it should be included as a right. If you couldn't move, talk, speak

Some people don't believe there is a Kingdom of Heaven, some don't know, and those who make such claims do so on faith, not fact.

Ray, I appreciate the fact that you didn't foam at the mouth and attack me constantly. As a matter of fact, I referred to your way of thinking as "evil" probably more than you did me.

UPDATE

You had to prove me wrong didn't you? I just got the rest of your latest email to me. This is exactly what I am talking about folks. If we don't stand up to these people and stop them from taking over our country we will be in jail for speaking out against them.

In a world ruled by reason, you would be in a mental institution. You Christo-Fascists are cruel, dangerous and a bunch of Neanderthals.

You well people think we who suffer just don't want to die. There is such a thing as quality of life which you take for granted. Somewhere in a compartment of your head are the suffering millions you write off.

Waiting for God would put us back in the Stone Age. Is that what you want" What about God's boo-boos, like the baby born in India with an extra head - it died. Life is very, very unfair, and it is up to us to change that as much as possible.

Some people don't believe there is an everlasting life in a Kingdom of Heaven, some don't know, and those who make such claims do so on faith, not fact. There are many faiths and unbelievers and tolerance is a virtue, not an evil.

I am glad to learn that you oppose IVF We don't need more people. That is consistency. But your will to power over other people's lives is pathological.

It comes down to this:

> I don't believe Homosexuals should have artificially created children
> I believe stem cell research kills human beings, and to do so in order to benefit another human being is murder
> I believe abortion is murder
> I believe a baby in the womb is a unique human being and has his/her own DNA to prove my point
> I believe in Heaven, yes, on faith

Most importantly, I believe scientists have lost their minds and morals and we are all in danger of falling victim to their next experiment "for the greater good of mankind".

The Nazis did exactly that & we still don't consider them humanitarians 60 years later.

I wish you the best & will pray for you and others like you. I don't hate you, it would be wrong of me to do so. I just disagree with you and others who want to make laws allowing this kind of research.

Have scientists already won?

The question we have to ask ourselves as human beings is where are we going to go with all of the scientific research that is here today and what is coming down the road? I challenge all you decent people who are reading this article to challenge other decent people to open their eyes, accept the fact that we have a lot of work to do, and encourage them to participate in what is required in order for decent human beings to stop the scientific madness that is going on in America.

For you boomers out there, remember when we were kids how there were plenty of kids with birth defects around? Why aren't there as many today? Did we "cure" the problems like Down Syndrome & others? Nope. We've been killing people because they aren't good enough for society. Tests in the womb give a percentage of what a child in the womb "might" develop and the mothers kill them off under the recommendation from the doctors. Why do you think there was such a big stink with the March of Dimes a while back? The March of Dimes was supposed to help cut down on birth defects right? Well, we thought they were going to accomplish this goal through research, but then we learned that they were encouraging doctors to kill children with birth defects.

Article

I know two women whose mothers were pressured to kill them in the womb. They are perfectly healthy, but even if they weren't, just because they might have developed a birth defect, would that have made them less human?

Do you know that in America we are experimenting with:

Cloning
Stem Cell Research
Gender selection - Want a boy? Kill the girl & try again.
Selective reduction - When a baby or number of babies is killed so that a woman can have a more manageable number of children to raise
And more

Read those examples of what we are doing in America again and this time add "which takes the lives of innocent human beings" after each one.

Not too long there was a Nazi German named Joseph Mengele. He and Adolph Hitler wanted to create a "master race". They too were pursuing genetics to help them with their goal. After the war the books on the inhumane experiments were closed. It was decided that mankind should not benefit from evil experimentation, no matter how much good it might do.

The moral thinking of those days is gone.

Years following the horrible events of WWII saw us accepting more an more immoral and inhumane behavior. Homosexuality, polygamy, bestiality, cloning, b&d, prostitution and more are on their way as accepted moral behavior. How can you argue that any of those are wrong based on morals and values when secularists and pagans say "don't legislate your morals on me"? Anyone who has walked past a Victoria's Secret store in the mall nowadays knows what I am talking about.

Article on Victoria's Secret display at Tyson's Corner, Virginia

A man named Alfred Kinsey taught us that raping children was a good way to prove that children enjoyed being molested by evil men. David Kupelian wrote about the rewriting of morals and values in America in a book titled "The Marketing of Evil".

Article

I haven't finished the entire lecture write-up, but here is some of it at prolifenews.tv:

Article

(you have to click "play" to view the video)

Here is an article about how Worldnetdaily.com successfully stopped the sale of a child-sex book:

Article

This part from the book really helps define the modern "anything goes" movement:

"Adult-child sex" is the next big "sexual liberation" movement on its way, warns David Kupelian, WND's managing editor and author of the "The Marketing of Evil."

"It's amazing how devious these people are. To mainstream sex with children, they resort to pseudo-scholarly research and produce heavily footnoted academic papers extolling the virtues of pedophilia in ancient societies.

"But the purpose is obvious – to desensitize good people to the terrible crime of pedophilia, and to blur the line between good and evil."

In one chapter of "The Marketing of Evil," which has been met with critical acclaim, Kupelian exposes the modern pedophile movement, which is firmly rooted in the controversial sex research of Indiana University's Alfred Kinsey.

"Kinsey relied on serial pedophiles for obtaining his so-called 'research,'" said Kupelian. "For instance, 'Table 34' on page 180 of Kinsey’s 'Sexual Behavior in the Human Male' purports to be a scientific record of 'multiple orgasm in pre-adolescent males' – which is based on the criminal sexual molestation of children, including infants and toddlers, for the purposes of obtaining 'data' for his research.
In 1973 the Supreme court opened the floodgates on legal abortion in America. Two generations have been raised under a false understanding of what being "human" really means.

The baby boom generation doesn't have an excuse. Many sought an easy way out and pretended not to know.

Today, our children are being raised by Planned Parenthood and school systems which teach them that children are inconvenient, sex is good, you're going to do it anyway so you might as well have "protection", which they will sell to you for a profit, which is guaranteed to fail, after which they will offer you an abortion...for a fee of course.

Christian men and women turn from their responsibility of teaching sex to their children and leave it up to the schools and Planned Parenthood. They don't believe that sex marketing that is going on. More than that, they refuse to believe it! Every discussion I have with women about the school systems goes the same way. They insist that the school is teaching abstinence, as if that is all that they are being taught. I tell them that even in our day the schools gave out birth control pills and condoms, so why do they think it is different now? They eventually concede the likelihood of this occurring. So I ask if they know anyone who has gotten pregnant while using birth control pills or condoms. Most do. And?

What do you think "Sex Education" is anyway? Have you ever heard of the word "marketing"? How about "sex sells"?

We should be teaching our children how to be dealing with their sexual urges. We are not animals. I know certain people want to try and convince America that we are, but we are not.

A segment of society wants to convince the world that we can't help what we do because we are born to do those things. It's the age-old "good is bad" "bad is good" thing. They want you to get confused and question your morals and values long enough to change the laws of the land. They have learned to say things that will make you feel sorry for them and start to consider their arguments.

Here is the latest installment from Ray about SCNT:

Dear "Pro-Life" guy: I am happy to hear that you have been looking into SCNT. After your argument about the sacred sperm, you do need to investigate this subject. Two techniques have been developed to get around the embryo issue which bothers you so much even with nuclear transfer.

"Pro-Life" Guy after this statement "Ray, I'm not sure if you are unaware or just not concerned for what really happens with modern scientific experimentation with human beings. Here is some information on "somatic cell nuclear transfer" (SCNT)" I must tell you that I can do little but know about stem cell research.

Synthetic stem cells have been created at the U of San Francisco. Scientists have created mice from same sex parents, see Mickey Has Two Moms Homosexuals will someday be able to reproduce their own genetic offspring. How do you like them apples?

"Homosexuals will someday be able to reproduce their own genetic offspring. How do you like them apples?"

It's flat out evil Ray and I'm sorry you support such things.

1) A technique has been developed to extract one cell (like in IVF genetic testing) to create a stem cell line, leaving the embryo intact. But what are you going to do with it, leave it perpetually in limbo? Also, where is your opposition to IVF clinics?

IVF clinics create millions of human beings, inject them into women to see which ones take and then they freeze or throw away the rest. Human beings, not "embryos" as pro-abortion people like to call them.

(2) There is a process known as ANT Altered Nuclear Transfer whereby an embryo created with an unfertilized germ cell and somatic skin cells would be disabled so it could never implant under any circumstances. Although this should allay the fears of those who are terrified of cloning, it won't.

I have thought a great deal about this subject and have concluded that what really bothers hESCR opponents is the fact that scientists can do "God's work" regarding reproduction, .except in the case of IVF clinics where the purpose is to allow childless couples to reproduce albeit at the expense of embryos that fail to implant or thaw successfully. This puts doubt on religious beliefs although there is no reason why it should.

You are right. We are living in the culture of "The Lord of the Flies", and soon, people who speak out against this evil will be rounded up and locked away for "hate crimes" for doing so.

No human beings or persons are experimented upon with stem cell research. Stem cells are living, human cells, but every cell in your body contains the DNA potential for a clone. Stem cells are called cells because they are cells, not people. An acorn is not an oak tree and a squirrel that eats an acorn is not a murderer.

Nice try on the disinformation. Stem cells are harvested from living human beings. You can't get a stem cell from a rock.

Cloning is wrong. You should not create a copy of yourself in order to kill the copy for your cure.

No human beings or persons are being sacrificed to alleviate my suffering and thanks to people like you, my suffering and that of millions never will be relieved until we die, but someday science will prevail. when we do get a cure say for diabetes. That is why you don't oppose IVF - it works. There is good reason why most scientists and Nobel Laureates support ESCR.. I think you choose to promote the idea that cells are people because if you are successful, it will be easier to overturn Roe. V. Wade, again tying the abortion issue to ESCR.

I don't oppose IVF because it works, I oppose it because it is evil. Human beings should not be sacrificed so that other humans can "make" children like toys.

So, for those of you who know we are in trouble in America and around the world...are you going to leave the necessity of confronting our government and scientists with these issues to others, or are you going to get involved?

Even if you are already involved in a Pro-Life movement, join us at MarchTogether.com anyway. The goal is to unite all of us who know that we must speak out in a Monthly Call for Life. We email, call and/or march to let them know that we want abortion to end and we won't stop speaking out against it until they have stopped it.

When our numbers grow sufficiently enough we will speak out against all the madness going on.

Separately we can accomplish great things. United we can accomplish more and faster. I'm not saying you should give up your calling, just join us once a month on the first Friday.

Wave your own banner/flag. Make your own statements. Whatever you do, do it on the same day once a month and we will be heard!

SCNT Defined

I held back the person's name and email address, whom I will refer to as Ray from here on, from the previous article because I didn't want him/her to find out what it's like to constantly get letters from people like him/her. Yes, there are extreme people on both sides of the aisle.

Ray responded to my post with this:

Well, well, well, you didn't have the guts to print my name. Was this for my protection so some "pro-life" person would not attack me?

With SCNT, nuclear transfer or therapeutic cloning there is no sperm, only an unfertilzed [sic] egg and one's own DNA. Is this some kind of immaculate conception???? How dare you stand in the way of medical research?

The stem cell issue has nothing to do with the abortion issue,, but you make this connection. This is why you are evil. You have no idea what my views on abortion are, but I sure do have Parkinson's disease and really more than resent your attempt to give SSNs and 14th Amendment rights to cells.
Ray, I'm not sure if you are unaware or just not concerned for what really happens with modern scientific experimentation with human beings. Here is some information on "somatic cell nuclear transfer" (SCNT)

Article
The Problem with Human Cloning
On November 25, Advanced Cell Technology, a privately funded biotechnology company in Worcester, MA, announced it had produced the first cloned human embryos. None of the embryos lived beyond the six-cell stage, but this development indicates that the cloning of human beings is on our societal doorstep.

Cloning is a way of producing a genetic twin of an organism, without sexual reproduction. The method used to produce Dolly the sheep and one of the methods used to produce the human embryos is called "somatic cell nuclear transfer" (SCNT). With SCNT, the nucleus of a body cell (somatic cell) is transferred into an unfertilized egg whose nucleus has been removed or rendered inactive. A tiny electric pulse is usually used then to stimulate development of the resulting embryo. Scientists hope to get these cloned human embryos to grow to the blastocyst stage (about 100 cells) in order to harvest their stem cells for research, thus causing the death of the embryo.

"As one group of scientific and other experts advising the Holy See has written, ‘In the cloning process, the basic relationships of the human person are perverted: filiation, consanguinity [blood relation], kinship, parenthood. A woman can be the twin sister of her mother, lack a biological father and be the daughter of her grandmother. In vitro fertilization has already led to the confusion of parentage, but cloning will mean the radical rupture of these bonds.’"
And this article:

The procedure used for cloning is somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT). That is the procedure that produced Dolly the sheep. So obviously, a cloned embryo produced by SCNT is capable of developing into an adult. In therapeutic cloning, it would not be allowed to develop.

Here’s how SCNT works. A somatic cell is a cell taken from tissue in the body such as a skin cell or a heart cell or a brain cell. This is opposed to a germ cell, which would be an egg cell or sperm cell. An unfertilized egg cell, which normally would not be capable of developing into an adult of the species, has its nucleus removed. Then the nucleus of the somatic cell is injected into the egg cell and a small pulse of electricity is used to fuse the nucleus with the cytoplasm in the egg cell and trigger cell division, just like a fertilized egg. We know that this has worked to produce a living, breathing cloned sheep. If we are dealing with human cells, it is possible that it could develop into a living, breathing human being. But, in therapeutic cloning, it would not be allowed to do so. After it develops to the blastocyst stage, it will be killed and the stem cells will be harvested.
Last but not least, from Wikipedia.com:

This technique is currently the basis for cloning animals, such as the famous Dolly the sheep, and could theoretically be used to clone humans. It is commonly used to produce embryonic stem cells. In order to do this, the egg, now containing the nucleus of a somatic cell, is stimulated in such a way that it begins to divide. The resulting cells are, ideally, genetically identical to the original; embryonic stem cells are harvested when dividing cells have formed a blastocyst.
Ray, you keep saying "cells". Where do you think those "cells" come from? They come from living human beings whom you are willing to kill to lesson your suffering.

We are not Nazis. We should not be mad scientists who kill other humans for our own benefit.

I'm the culture of death?

Yesterday I received this email?

The culture of death is you. You have no regard for the lives of living, suffering people. A cell is not a person, but I and millions of others are and our blood is on your hands.

You are cruel, callous, and very evil. Your God will not judge you kindly.

Ovarian cancer survivor, Parkinson's Disease prisoner for 10 years
The person did give her actual name and email address which I withheld. Most of the time people who are "pro-choice" throw in a bogus address & name.

I am not responsible for your Parkinson's Disease. I pray that you don't suffer and that a cure is found.

Anyway, let's address some of these points.

"You have no regard for the lives of living, suffering people"
I don't like to watch anyone suffer.

"A cell is not a person, but I and millions of others are and our blood is on your hands."
I agree, a cell is not a person, but a living organism is a person. When sperm meets egg and fertilizes it, life has begun. At that point we are no longer talking about a "cell".

Human beings should not have to be killed to lesson your suffering. Living human beings are unique organisms with unique DNA. At the moment of conception a person is created. Nobody has the right to step in and kill a living human being. Zygote, embryo, fetus, infant, toddler, teenager and adult are all descriptions of human stages of growth. If it is permissable for you to take the life of a person in the early stages of growth in the womb, then why not in the later stages of life?

For those of you who know abortion is wrong, join us in the Monthly Call for Life at MarchTogether.com. Even if you are already involved in a Pro-Life effort, that is exactly the point of "MarchTogether". We can put together our Pro-Life voices on a regular basis. That is why we challenge all Pro-Life people to join us on a monthly basis, on the first Friday, to let our representatives know we want abortion to end.

In some cases silence is golden, but in this case isn't.

Cord Blood Bill Passed by the Senate

The Culture of death almost won again. They tried to block HR 2520, a bill that will provide blood for collection and storage of umbilical cord blood "because they favor an embryonic stem cell research proposal".

Article

The house overwhelmingly passed HR 2520 to save lives through cord blood research only to almost have it rejected by the culture-of-death Democrats in the Senate.

The problem is, we have culture-of-death Republicans in office too.

Sen. Orrin Hatch, a Utah Republican, who sponsored the cord blood measure in the Senate and supports the embryonic stem cell legislation, said, "I think we should take the majority leader's word that he'll bring [HR 810] up" next year, CQ Today reported.
No decent Republican should support any bill which gives our government permission to kill human beings for experimentation. Sen. Bill Frist should have demanded a vote on HR 2520 based on it's merits, not on a condition that HR 810 would be brought up.

We should not make deals with the devil.

Argue till you're blue in the face, embryonic stem cell research is wrong, as are fertility treatments. These so-called "extra" embryos would not be available if there were no fertility treatments.

Let's read part of HR 810:

SEC. 498D. HUMAN EMBRYONIC STEM CELL RESEARCH.

`(a) In General- Notwithstanding any other provision of law (including any regulation or guidance), the Secretary shall conduct and support research that utilizes human embryonic stem cells in accordance with this section (regardless of the date on which the stem cells were derived from a human embryo) .

`(b) Ethical Requirements- Human embryonic stem cells shall be eligible for use in any research conducted or supported by the Secretary if the cells meet each of the following:

`(1) The stem cells were derived from human embryos that have
been donated from in vitro fertilization clinics, were created for the purposes of fertility treatment, and were in excess of the clinical need of the individuals seeking such treatment.

`(2) Prior to the consideration of embryo donation and through consultation with the individuals seeking fertility treatment, it was determined that the embryos would never be implanted in a woman and would otherwise be discarded.

`(3) The individuals seeking fertility treatment donated the embryos with written informed consent and without receiving any financial or other inducements to make the donation.
They have the gall to say "Ethical Requirements".
"would otherwise be discarded"?
Why would a human being be discarded?

We must accept the fact that life begins at conception, not when a baby exits the womb of the mother. We must speak out against this kind of research!

Please don't think your responsibility ends when you push the button on the voting machine. Get involved and help us end abortion in this country. Help us defend the defenseless and help the helpless. Join us in the Monthly March for Life at MarchTogether.com. We unite every month on the first Friday in a Call for Life where we email, call and/or march to let our representatives know we want abortion to end.

Judie Brown from American Life League Inc. Interview

Judie Brown is the President of the American Life League Inc. and is the first person we interviewed in our new category "Pro-Life Blogger Interviews.

The power of God is working through all of us in our cause to save His children / our children. I know that legally ending abortion alone is not the final answer, and I know there are many other pieces to the Pro-Life puzzle. Fortunately we are diverse in our efforts and through our different missions we help put together the puzzle one piece at a time.

Q - What is your Pro-Life project/blog to help end abortion? (brief bio)

A - Our focus in the struggle to end abortion is based on the proposition that the average person must see the baby as a fellow human being and thus understand that an act of abortion is an act of murder. The reason we follow this course of thinking, which is of course quite logical, goes back to 1970 when my husband and I first heard that abortion was being practiced. The priest, in his homily that Sunday, told the congregation that every abortion is an act of murder and must never be tolerated in law or society.

Q - How and when did you become involved in the proLife movement, and did something happen to you or someone you know which helped you recognize that abortion is wrong?

A - It was that sermon that propelled my husband and I, and our then six month old son, into the battle to stop abortion. We knew we had to act and the priest defined how, which in this particular case was going door to door, handing out educational brochures, and telling our neighbors why they had to vote 'no' on a proposed ballot measure.

Q - Do you believe all abortions are wrong? (Explain)

A - We know that each abortion kills a fellow human being, and thus it would be illogical to argue that some abortions are acceptable while others are not. This is why we oppose all those suggested laws that contain exceptions for certain abortion such as rape, incest or life of the mother.

Q - How does God fit in your project?

A - God is the Author of life, and it is His grace that invites each of us to become deeply committed to His babies and strive to end this scourge of abortion. Without God there would be no inspiration, and certainly no strength to persist in this effort.

Q - Where do you see the Pro-Life movement headed?

A - The pro-life movement simply has to get its act together and focus on the truth that every human being is equally valuable and must be protected in the law. If the movement continues to be Republican first, it is doomed to political failure.

Q - Do you believe we will end abortion, and if so when? (Explain)

A - I believe that nobody beats God; I also believe in the inherent good that resides in the heart of man. And therefore I do believe aborting children will end one day though I cannot predict how or when God will bless our nation with that victory.

Q - What would you like to say to those who might share a common bond with your ideals and methods, and what can people who read this interview do to help your project and/or end abortion?

A - We are called to be faithful to God and His truth; we are not called to "win." Thus it is important for each of us to pray, to seek God's will in our lives and to always remember that without Him we can do nothing.

Those who wish to get involved with American Life league or to support our efforts financially, spiritually or with their time and effort are invited to simply contact me at jbrown@all.org.

Q - Do you agree with embryonic stem cell research? What about birth-control?

A - Human embryonic stem cell research cannot be done without killing innocent human individuals; and thus we oppose it. We also oppose all forms of birth control because they are inherently evil in that they deny that God is the Author of life and the only One who should determine when a couple will or will not bear a child.

Q - What Blogs do you read?

A - I could not possibly list all the material and Internet conversations (blogs) that I read; a whole lot!

Q - What advice would you give to other bloggers who would like to expand their audience and influence of their weblog?

A - A weblog has to be informative and consistent; if those two qualities exist, it is my experience that more and more people will visit because everyone who has friends on an email list shares the good news about great blogs.
What is the focus of your pro-life blogging activities?
The focus of my blog is the news; what is ridiciulous, what is gruesome or what is simply unbelievable.

Q - Do you believe blogging is making a difference in the battle for the pre-born?

A - I think that every single thing we do makes a difference, and I do not think we can measure any of those activities. What we have to do is use the creative abilites God has given each of us to do our best in this battle. BLOGS are a boon to educating others.

Q - Have you heard of MarchTogether.com, a Pro-Life effort to unite all Pro-Life people once a month in order to send out a united message to our representatives to encourage them to end abortion?

A - Yes, I have heard of MARCH TOGETHER and I think it is an outstanding idea. The more we can get pro-lifers and those who should be with us united in speaking with one voice, frequently and effectively, the sooner we will end the killing of the innocent.

Final words
May the Lord bless each person who reads this interview with the insight and the desire to do preciselly what needs to be done to make that person part of the winning team: the PRO LIFE TEAM!

Thanks for the opportunity to do this. Judie Brown, President, American Life League Inc.

Does Evil Exist?

Leslie Tignor from the American Life League sent this today:

The following was included in Julie Grimstad's most recent Life is Worth Living newsletter .... As Julie said, let us, this Christmas, pray for those who do not believe in Jesus Christ ... and Merry Christmas!

Did God create evil?

A University professor at a well known institution of higher learning
challenged his students with this question. "Did God create everything that exists?" A student bravely replied, "Yes he did!" "God created everything?" The professor asked. "Yes sir, he certainly did," the student replied. The professor answered, "If God created everything; then God created evil. And, since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are, then we
can assume God is evil."

The student became quiet and did not answer the professor's hypothetical definition. The professor, quite pleased with himself,
boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth.

Another student raised his hand and said, "May I ask you a question, professor?" "Of course", replied the professor. The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?"

"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The other students snickered at the young man's question. The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist.

According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Every body or object is susceptible to study
when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (-460 F) is the total absence of heat; and all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist.

We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have
no heat." The student continued, "Professor, does darkness exist?"

The professor responded, "Of course it does." The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light.

Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact, we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color.

You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light
present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present." Finally the young man asked the professor, "Sir, does evil exist?"

Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course, as I have already said. We see it everyday. It is in the daily examples of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world.

These manifestations are nothing else but evil.

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist, sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the
absence of God.

God did not create evil.

Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart.

It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat, or the darkness
that comes when there is no light."

The professor sat down.

The young man's name -- Albert Einstein.

Major Breakthrough for Adult Stem Cell Research!

Finally a breakthrough that could sink the Embryonic (human) Stem Cell Research for good.

At the University of Illinois, researches have managed to get stem cells from adult mice to change into brain, nerve, heart muscle and pancreatic cells.

Article

Those researching Embryonic (human) Stem Cells have been holding up the healing possibilities of their research, but have not yielded one single "healing" yet.

“We have found a counterpart for embryonic stem cells in adult bone marrow. This could negate the ethical concerns,” said Mariusz Ratajczak, leader of the research team and director of the stem cell biology program at Louisville’s James Graham Brown Cancer Center.

The next step is to replicate the experiment with similar cells identified in adult humans.

“It’s huge. It’s an amazing discovery,” said Ryan Reca, one of the researchers.

I have always held to the main point, which is that human beings should not be used for experiments. It doesn't matter if you come up with some miracle cure using Embryonic Stem Cells. If you have to kill human beings for your experiments, you're no better than Adolph Hitler and the Nazi Germans.

“Specifically, embryonic stem cells are derived from embryos that develop from eggs that have been fertilized in vitro - in an in vitro fertilization clinic - and then donated for research purposes with the informed consent of the donors,” according to a stem cell primer from the National Institutes of Health.

How you can donate another person to be killed for experimentation is beyond me. This is pure evil and our country is silent as Joseph Mengele wanna-bes experiment with living human beings, even supported by state funds in some states like California.

But many researchers and liberal religious groups have persisted in urging such funding, saying embryonic stem cells hold the best potential for medical research. They also say some of the older stem cell lines funded under Bush’s policy have been contaminated and are not as useful as producing new ones would be.

It's no surprise the culture of death is interested in killing living human beings for their research. President Bush should never have given in to them in the first place!

The research announced Monday appears to show that VSELs can be grown in the laboratory, multiply into clusters of cells and then be caused to change into other types of cells such as brain or cardiac muscle cells.

“We’ve established how to isolate and how to unleash the power of this cell,” Ratajczak said.

Will this shut up the pro-abortion / pro-embryonic (human) research crowd? Not on your life...literally if you are an unborn embryo in their hands.

For those of you who are ready to stand up to the pro-abortion crowd, join us for the next Monthly Call for Life at MarchTogether.com. We unite once a month on the first Friday to email, call and/or march to let our representatives know we want them to end abortion and end the baby-killing research.

Action Item - Ethical and moral legislation held hostage

Ethical and moral legislation is held hostage many times, but the most recent example is one that shows how the culture of death wants people who are Pro-Life to give up life principals in order to make a "deal with the devil".

The following is an action item that requires your immediate attention. Instructions on what you can do to help are at the end. Please read this important message and then take action!

Ethical and moral legislation is held hostage many times, but the most recent example is one that shows how the culture of death wants people who are Pro-Life to give up life principals in order to make a "deal with the devil".

(S. 1317) is a bill which will save lives and help people now as opposed to embryonic stem cell research, which has yet to help one single person. Umbilical cord blood is providing treatments for at least 67 different diseases.

The culture of death, Democrats in government, want Republicans to pass a bill which will allow the murder of innocent human beings who will be used in Nazi-like experiments. Embryonic stem cell research has become their primary focus in regards to medical research, and they are looking to it as the fountain of youth and the healing mechanism of mankind. They have rolled out (literally) celebrities in favor of embryonic stem cell research who talk about how they could be cured if only we would federally fund this horrible research. California has already agreed to pour billions into this research and other states are moving forward with this and other life-ending research, like cloning, all under the sales pitch that it is for the good of mankind.

If you agree that embryonic stem cell research should be legal then do nothing. You will get your wish. If you believe that this "Life-Saving Cord Blood Bill (S. 1317) should be passed and not held hostage by the Senate Democrats then I strongly urge you to read this message from Tony Perkins, the President of the Family Research Council:

From the Family Research Council via the American Life League:

-----

Urge the Senate to Pass the Life-Saving Cord Blood Bill (S. 1317)

It began as a strategy and has become a scandal. As this is written, Senate Democrats are holding hostage a bill that will foster life-saving treatments for victims of such diseases as sickle cell anemia, Lorenzo's Oil, and leukemia. and genetic diseases such as Krabbe's and Hurler's disease. The bill is S. 1317, the Stem Cell and Therapeutic Research Act of 2005, introduced by Sen. Orrin Hatch. This much-needed legislation has been bogged down by Senate liberals who are demanding a vote on a separate bill to expand tax funding of stem cell research that relies on killing embryonic human beings.

Senator Bill Frist attempted to "hotline" S. 1317 to speed its passage in the Senate, but Democrats objected. This is especially sad because S. 1317 involves no ethical issues. This uncontroversial legislation passed through the U.S. House of Representatives by a vote of 431-1. When it comes to stem cell research, it's a bill every sensible person can support, and the reason is simple. S. 1317 would increase federal funds for the collection of stem cells from umbilical cord blood. Unlike embryonic human stem cells, these cord blood cells are already in use to provide treatments for at least 67 different diseases.

People on all sides of the bioethics debate support cord blood stem cell research. But while Senate Democrats are maneuvering for a guaranteed vote on their hotly disputed bill, this good bill is languishing and people who need help are not getting it. That is why basketball Hall of Famer Julius - "Dr. J." - Erving joined with Republican Chris Smith and Democrat Artur Davis, a member of the Congressional Black Caucus, to urge swift action on this bill.

Please take the time to send a message to your senators now. Tell them to end the "hostage situation" on S. 1317 and send this commonsense bill now to President Bush for his signature. And forward this alert to your friends and family as well - we need an outpouring of support to send a message to Senate liberals to end their blockade of this bill.

Thank you and God bless you.

Urge the Senate to Pass the Life-Saving Cord Blood Bill (S. 1317).

Sincerely,

Tony Perkins
President

P.S. Please forward this Alert to your friends and family as well - we need an outpouring of support to send a message to Senate liberals to end their blockade of this bill.

-----

Now do something about it! Click here to go to a page where you can look up your representatives. Make sure you call and/or members of the Senate not the House. If you are not sure, call and/or email anyone with Sen. or Senator in front of their name.

Here is what you might want to say:

"I'm calling to urge my Senators to please pass Senate Bill S. 1317 without conditions or demands."

Mad Scientists in America and Gender Selection

We are losing major battles in the scientific and medical communities. We are losing them because we aren't taking serious the extent to which these evil geniuses will go.

Lifesite.net writes that we have begun trials for gender selection in the United States using a process called PGD or preimplantation genetic diagnosis.

http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2005/oct/05102707.html

I've pointed out in the past how China and India have been using this method or others, like infanticide and abortion, to make sure that only men are born.

We have to stand up to the scientific and medical communities. We have to challenge our doctors and scientists to be moral people, because let's face it, many of our medical, scientific and political leaders are not moral now! If we don't put walls up around them they will go in whatever directions they want to go.

When we count the number of dead since Roe vs Wade we only count those people killed directly by abortion, not those killed in experiments and IVF or In Vitro Fertilization. If we added those people into the equation we would probably be counting into the hundreds of millions killed by doctors and scientists in the United States alone.

People of faith need to pray, and then we need to stand up for our rights to live as human beings and defend the lives of those who die right in front of us every day!!! We have a moral responsibility to do more than talk about how bad something is or hide from things because they are uncomfortable.

Joseph Mengele, the "Angel of Death" would be proud of our complacency.

"his favorite activity at Auschwitz, selecting which new arrivals were fit to work and which ones should be sent immediately to the gas chambers and crematorium. Those sent to the left, roughly 10 to 30 percent of all new arrivals, had their lives spared, at least for the moment. Those sent to the right, usually 70 to 90 percent of all new arrivals, had been condemned to die without even a passing glance from their judge and jury at Auschwitz."

http://www.crimelibrary.com/mengele/main.htm

"The death factory at Auschwitz was a gruesome kingdom of human misery. Barracks and their inhabitants were inundated with the foulest of sanitary conditions. Diseases such as typhus and diarrhea were rampant, as were lice, vermin and fleas. It was over this kingdom which Dr. Josef Mengele sought to preside."

Why the horrific description? Because that was then, this is now. Now our doctors and scientists are given permission by the government to perform their gruesome experiments. Now they are given carte blanche... money, facilities and the green light by society.

"Mengele’s stated mission at Auschwitz was to perform research on human genetics. His work was funded through a grant that Professor von Verschuer had secured through the German Research Council in August of 1943. The goal of Mengele’s work was to unlock the secrets of genetic engineering, and to devise methods for eradicating inferior gene strands from the human population as a means to creating a Germanic super-race."

What do you think screening for genetic defects is? They do it now, by the millions every year. It's when they perform the PGD test and determine that a person "might" be afflicted with a genetic disorder.

"PGD is already routinely used to screen out embryos with genetic defects. Thus those embryonic children with disabilities are disposed of (read killed) prior to being given a chance to be born, a fact which has been of serious concern to groups advocating for the disabled."

This isn't a science fiction movie, this is really happening in America right now!

There is a woman in my church whose mother was told that she should abort her child because they were certain it would have a genetic defect. They pressured her to have an abortion but she refused. My friend at the church was born healthy. The "genetic" scare was wrong.

Maybe the doctors and scientists in America don't perform their actions with the same glee with which Mengele performed them, but they are performed nonetheless. Like the Nazi model, Americans are selecting newborn based on health and gender. We even one-up them by using the unborn for experimentation via stem cell research.

Around the world the horror reads like something from Nazi Germany. Not only are murdered human beings used for youth cream and burn ointment, the Chinese are experimenting with humans to grow them into replacement parts. Countries around the world don't have any moral limitations imposed on them so they pursue any experiment which unborn human beings can be used for.

If there was ever a time in American history for Americans to rise up against tyranny now is the time. In the morning when you read this, please pick up the phone and call the White House at 202-456-1111. Tell them you do not want America to choose human beings based on sex selection. Email them at comments@whitehouse.gov and vice_president@whitehouse.gov and say the same.

Then go to MarchTogether.com and see what you can do every month to help us stop the daily inhuman slaughter of innocent human beings in America.

In case you are asking why I compare the killing of the unwanted human beings in America to Nazi Germany, my mother's father was dragged into the street and shot because of who he was. I believe the comparison is valid. Jews were unwanted, used for experiments and killed. Humans today are unwanted, used for experiments and killed.

Get involved, don't leave it to others to do it for you.

Be aware, not afraid. Confront those who need confronting.

Dec. 7th, 1941 - Lest we Forget

Attack on Pearl Harbor Dec. 7th, 1941
From http://www.coolstamps.com

We often compare the 9/11 attacks to Pearl Harbor. Let's not forget what we are comparing them to.

> They were both sneak attacks on the United States killing thousands.
> They were both wake-up calls to the violent aggression which exists in the world.

Here's some history about that date "a date which will live in infamy":

Pro-Aborts Lie - You Die

People on the other side of the aisle consistently resort to lies instead of facts to prove their points. Even one of the founders of the pro-abortion movement has admitted they used tactics learned from Goebels, a Nazi leader credited (though it is believed Hitler really came up with it) with creating the "big lie".

What are all the lies?

> Over 800 calls were made to Planned Parenthood facilities around the country by LifeDynamics.com by a girl pretending to be underage. This was important because Planned Parenthood is supposed to notify authorities if they find out a girl has been impregnated by a man over the age of 18. Not only did they not do so, they told the girl she had to be quiet about the age difference.

> Birth control pills are safe - Don't think so

> The patch is safe - Wrong again

> Condoms have low failure rates - They're dreaming

> Abortion is low-risk - Ask the 347 women on the Blackmun Wall.

Article

> No increased risk of breast cancer - Joel Brind, PhD, president of the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute disagrees.

> In our own schools they encourage our children to have sex, use birth control, and when it fails, go to them for abortions on the QT.

Brind's 1996 meta-analysis reviewed all the studies done in the previous decade and found a 30 percent increased risk of breast cancer for women choosing an abortion after a first full-term pregnancy and a 50 percent risk increase for women choosing an abortion before a first full-term pregnancy.

Article

> Depression and suicide not linked to abortion - Yeah, right.

Planned Parenthood claims:

The truth is that most studies in the last 20 years have found abortion to be a relatively benign procedure in terms of emotional effect — except when pre-abortion emotional problems exist or when a wanted pregnancy is terminated, such as after diagnostic genetic testing (Adler, 1989; Adler et al., 1990; Russo & Denious, 2001).

They have many other outrageous claims that I won't bother listing.

How do you tell if a pro-abort is lying?

Their lips are moving.

Think about this. If we're wrong but women respect their bodies and those of their children anyway, they all live and they live healthier lives. If they're wrong and women don't respect their bodies, have abortions, take pills, use patches and participate in frequent sex like they show on Sex in the City, the consequences are dire.

> Children die very young, (in the womb)
> Women become depressed
> Increased chances of diseases
> Cancer
> Death
> Blood clots

And more.

There is a difference between being wrong and lying though. I hope people will pay attention to facts.

Boycott Walgreens

How would you like to have been one of the Nazi guards forced to kill Jews, gypsies, blacks and other undesirables of the time by herding them into gas chambers? You probably would have said no if you had a choice, but as we know, people couldn't make humanitarian choices back then without being killed, tortured or imprisoned.

That was then, this is now. Undesirable people today are led to their slaughter inside the wombs of women who are taught that abortion is nothing more than getting rid of undesirable tissue and cells, and many people sit back and watch it happen WITHOUT the threat of being killed, tortured or imprisoned.

Then there are those who refuse, like the pharmicists at Walgreens in Illinois. Pharmacists in Illinois are forced to distribute pills which kill innocent human beings in the womb. Four pharmacists in Illinois refused to be a part of the legal murder called abortion which takes place in this country many times a day. They were willing to put their jobs on the line to save lives, and they were released with unpaid "leave".

WorldNetDaily Article

At issue is the Plan B morning-after contraceptive – not to be confused with RU486, the abortion pill used to terminate later-term pregnancies. Plan B contraceptives are essentially very high, multiple dosages of birth-control pills taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex to prevent ovulation or implantation. If ovulation is prevented, no egg is fertilized and no pregnancy occurs. But if ovulation has taken place and the egg is fertilized, the morning-after pill works to block implantation by the early embryo in the mother's womb. It is aborted, making dispensing prescriptions for the pill a matter of conscience for pro-life pharmacists.

In this case, the pharmacists aren't just being asked to lead people to their death, they are asked to dispense the drug which will kill them!

Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, the modern equivalant of a Nazi German leader, ordered pharmacies to "honor all Food and Drug Administration-approved contraception prescriptions".

"If a woman has a prescription for contraceptives, they ought to be filling that," Blagojevich told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, adding that the pharmacists' suspensions were unfortunate but not as important as protecting women's rights.

What about the women's rights inside the womb? They don't count.

This is an issue you would think Democrats would support them on. After all, they are all for allowing soldiers to avoid combat by applying for conscientious objector status.

Yahoo Definition

To people who believe in Life, the pro-abortion world is dark and deadly. Why should we be forced to participate in their murderous "choices"?

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Belleville's Project Rachel has called for a boycott of Walgreens. Let's join them and also call Walgreens to let them know how we feel!

Help these brave pharmacists. Boycott Walgreens until they hire them back and allow them to be conscientious objectors.

Click hereto get to the contact page for Walgreens. Email and call the company to let them know you support the four pharmacists who made moral decisions in support of Life.

Since the last Call for Life on November 4th, an additional 10 organizations / Pro-Life bloggers have cross-linked to MarchTogether.com. Thousands of people are coming to the site every month and many of you are participating in different ways to help the project grow. If you would like to cross-link with us, send an email to linkexchange@marchtogether.com.

Email and call everyone you know who might take part in this important mission. Encourage others to speak out to help stop the state sanctioned killing of human beings in the womb.

We the people of this great country need to speak up for the first right which is declared in the Declaration of Independence, namely the "Right to Life"!

If you can help out in any way, like graphics or web development, email us at volunteer@marchtogether.com.

Alito now not acceptable?

As Tim pointed out in "Abortion Stance Draws Filibuster Threat" the Dems are beginning to posture for a filibuster on Judge Alito. Joe Biden said "I think he's got a lot of explaining to do,".

Ruth Bader Ginsberg flew through the nomination process even though she made comments like this one:

"I will rest my answer on the Casey decision, which says in the end it’s her body, her life, and men - to that extent - are not similarly situated. They don’t bear the child."

Notice she said "the child", admitting that a human being is what she has no problem killing out of convenience.

We sure don't carry the child, but people like her obviously aren't responsible enough to make life and death decisions. A person in the womb deserves to live, not be decided on like which brand of cereal to have this morning.

Republicans must have backbone on the abortion issue. If there was ever a time in history, now is the time. There cannot be a double-standard. If the Dems make it the case that any person who is nominated for Supreme Court must be pro-abortion, Republicans will have to go morally underground and/or lose that important piece of morality in order to function in government.

Ayotte Update

Go to ProLifeNews.tv for a couple of multimedia clips on the case.

Will the case be overturned? We will see what the makeup of the court is like with this case. My guess is that they will throw it out based on a "health of the mother" demand.
