Media Lies Blogspot

Surprise, the media lies!

Okay, so that was no great surprise, but it's not just the lies that we should worry about.

We should also worry about the constant disinformation and the desensitizing of America and the revisionist teaching in our schools and from public media.

For instance, the discovery channel is in full revisionist mode nowadays showing modern documentaries of their version of history. Everything is being rewritten to fit the new, modern anti-American code of ethics in broadcast information and journalism. They plant seeds of doubt about everything from the American Revolution to the Iraq war.

TV shows, books and movies are full of violence, hatred and sex and they are conditioning us to accept more and more vile and morally corrupt behavior. It's Halloween tonight. There are children out there dressed as Jason from Friday the 13th, Freddy from Nightmare on Elm Street and many other gruesome murderous characters. Do these children have the foggiest idea of who they are pretending to be? Parents think it's funny and comment how scary they look, but if their son came at them with a real axe would they be laughing then?

I doubt it.

Even our President's wife gets in on the act with her "horse" joke and references to Desperate Housewives.

I know, I know, no great surprise there either.

But it's not just that the media does this on a constant basis, it's that they do this to make us think differently. They do these things to make us believe that hot is cold, red is blue, bad is good.

Their latest is the bit they did on the West Wing to try & influence America's view on abortion. Though most in America find abortion immoral, the West Wing on ABC would have us believe that the majority of Americans find abortion acceptable.

Christian Coalition Article

At least twice during the show, both the Republican and Democrat presidential candidates -- who were each pro-abortion -- mentioned the lie that Americans are 60% pro-abortion.

America is at least 53% pro-life according to a January 2005 poll by the "Los Angeles Times." Nearly 55% of Americans who responded to the poll said they were against ALL abortions except for rape/incest abortions (less than 2% of all abortions.) And 12% favored making ALL abortions illegal.

These lies are part of a cycle of violence that will continue until the truth somehow makes it through the web of deceit and misinformation.

Join us at MarchTogether.com and send a message to our real representatives that we want abortion to end.

Pray that we will end abortion and challenge your church to create a Pro-Life movement or support Pro-Life causes. I know many support crisis-pregnancy centers, but encourage them to fight abortion and speak out against in too.

Right-Wing Extremist Nominee Blogspot

No matter whom President Bush picks as nominee for the Supreme Court, if he doesn't ask for confirmation from the Democrats and the Gang of 14 beforehand, that person wouldn't be supported by Democrats.

So what is a confirmation hearing for anyway? I thought this was the place where Democrats and Republicans were supposed to discuss the qualifications of a presidential nominee for the Supreme Court.

Don't you find it interesting that President Bush went to the Democrats and got their thumbs up on Harriet Miers? If he were going to go to someone, wouldn't he go to Republicans for advice? I thought it was strange that so many Democrats were happy with Miers and told us to give her a chance, even though we knew nothing about her except for the fact that she once supported abortion, got religion and then supposedly turned against it. She was never a judge and had never ruled on anything except for what she was going to have for dinner.

Senator Reid said:

"In choosing a replacement for Ms. Miers, President Bush should not reward the bad behavior of his right wing base. He should reject the demands of a few extremists and choose a justice who will protect the constitutional rights of all Americans.”

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,173665,00.html

First of all, he mentions the "base" of the Republican party. What is the "base?" Isn't that something like the foundation of a house? Isn't the foundation of the house supposed to be solid and stable? Isn't the base of the party the group of people who are the primary supporters and financiers of the people who are in office?

With all that in mind, why wouldn't the base of the party expect the president, whom they supported and financed all the way to the presidency, to nominate a person with like-values, morals and direction?

I'm tired of all the "pandering to the base" statements. The nomination of Ruth Bader Ginsburg was the biggest "pandering to the base" nominee in the history of this country and she was overwhelmingly approved by Democrats and Republicans. Republicans have been trying to unite American politics for too long, at the cost of millions of American lives. President Ronald Reagan was wrong to appoint a Pro-Abortion nominee Sandra Day O'Connor, but obviously she wasn't the only mistake Republicans have made in selecting replacement judges.

In an opinion piece by Gina Holland from the Associated Press you can see how much of a difference she thinks a conservative nominee will make:

"A new justice will not make the difference on Roe v. Wade in the court's present configuration. Besides the moderate O'Connor, five of the eight other justices have endorsed a woman's right to the procedure."

She has a great point and it shows how much it takes to change the political landscape of a nation. We vote Pro-Lifers in at the local, state and federal levels, but for all of this to flow around it takes a lot of prayer, time, effort and 100% determination by all. We have had a lot of great successes, but Roe vs Wade is still the law of the land and won't change unless we demand that it change.

Abortion is murder and yet it is legal. 4,000 human beings a day are killed by "doctors" with government permission.

Please don't let your Pro-Life involvement end with a vote and believe that you have done all you can to end abortion. Over 45 million human beings have died through 32 years of politics and really all we are talking about is more politics.

If you are Pro-Life, vote for Pro-Life representatives, but don't let it end there. We must expect our nominees to do what is right regardless of political affiliation. They shouldn't get caught up in politics when it comes to Life issues, but they do.

If you are Pro-Life and are black, white, Asian, Democrat, Libertarian, Republican, man or woman, you should demand an end to abortion, regardless of who the senators are, regardless of who the president is, regardless of who your congressmen are.

Unite with us in the Monthly March for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com. We contact our representatives once a month on the first Friday to let them know we want them to end abortion. Help us get the word out to others that we need to act together in our Pro-Life efforts.

March Together for Life and help end abortion at MarchTogether.com

Uniting to end abortion Blogspot

By now many of you know that the MarchTogether.com project was set up to unite Pro-Life organizations and Pro-Life bloggers in order to end abortion. We are uniting regardless of our differences of religion, politics, race and gender.

I may be a Christian, but you might be Jewish, or Muslim. I may be a white male, but you may be an Asian female. If we have the common goal of ending abortion we need to set aside our differences and unite to speak as one against those who wish to keep abortion legal. If you haven't had the courage to speak out for the helpless children who are killed in the womb, find it now and join us.

Yes, I quote scripture from the Bible here and there. I am a Christian and an American, and in America we believe in freedom of speech.

For those of you who haven't joined the movement to end abortion check out the web site MarchTogether.com.

This coming Friday, the 4th of November is the next Call For Life. What we do is one or more of the following:

> Call our representatives
> Email our representatives
> Write our representatives
> Fax our representatives
> March at a local government building from noon til 2:00 pm

Notice a pattern here?

We tell/show our representatives every month that we want abortion to end and that we won't stop communicating this message to them until they end it!

What will you find at MarchTogether.com? We don't advertise and we don't ask for money. We, the unborn and the MarchTogether.com volunteers, want your time and commitment to help spread the word. Though the Call for Life is only once a month, you can do many things to help spread the word during that time.

> You can print out your own MarchTogether.com materials, such as graphics for posters and Life business cards at http://www.marchtogether.com/2005/index.htm. We provide the graphics for you so you don't have to do any designing or layout.
> Email your Pro-Life friends and tell them about the project
> Email other Pro-Life web site owners and ask them to join the project.
> If you have a Pro-Life blog or organization you can Link to MarchTogether.com We will gladly link back to you.
> On the day of the Call for Life, the first Friday of every month, you can write an article about the project and encourage your readers to join us. You can also use the MarchTogether.com logo with your article. It is at http://www.marchtogether.com/images/MonthlyLogo.jpg.
> Send suggestions to suggestions@marchtogether.com
> Send us pictures of your marches or Pro-Life efforts to post on the web site.

The most important thing to do is get involved. There are so many of us Pro-Lifers out there doing what we think is best and I wouldn't discourage or ask any of you to stop what you are doing. I only ask you to unite with us once a month and help spread the word.

If you have a call for action, email us at action@marchtogether.com. We will promote your action effort.

If we are united we will March Together and save the unborn. If we are divided they will die.

Pro-Life Republicans? Blogspot

In the article Pro Life Regardless I showed how our Republican Senator of Virginia showed that he isn't Pro-Life. My daughter got a letter from Representative Frank R. Wolf (R) who has also bailed from defending Life.

He said:

I share your opposition to abortion and have consistently supported legislation to prohibit federal funding of abortion, except in the case of rape, incest, or when the life of the mother is threatened. Please be assured that I will keep your views in mind if I am given an opportunity to consider legislation regarding abortion in the House of Representatives during the 109th Congress.

If Frank Wolf were Pro-Life he would have mentioned H.R. 552, a "House" bill that was submitted by Rep. Duncan Hunter. It is known as the "Right to Life" bill.

If Frank Wolf were Pro-Life he wouldn't just speak against "federal funding of abortion" and he wouldn't have exceptions thrown in either.

That's two Pro-Choice Republican representatives in Virginia. The words "Pro-Life Republican" are losing their meaning. Republicans used to stand for morals and values and could be counted on to be solid Pro-Lifers.

We don't feel that way anymore.

That is why we at MarchTogether.com don't care what the letter is after the politicians name. What we do is encourage our representatives to end abortion, regardless of what party is in power or what party represents us in our state.

I know there are many solid Pro-Life Republicans out there, but we can't count on our representatives to end abortion without our encouragement. It's been 32 years and over 45 million people have been killed by abortion, and 4,000 more are killed ever day.

Now we hear that America is joining the third world countries by starting a gender/sex selection trial.

Lifesite.net article

Not happy with another boy? Don't worry, you can legally kill him and pick a girl instead.

Don't want a child with Down Syndrome? Go ahead, kill him/her and pick another.

Don't want 3 kids because of In Vitro Fertilization? Don't worry, we can "selectively reduce" one of them away for you.

Having a hard time paying the bills and are suddenly saddled with an "unexpected pregnancy"? Well come right down to your local Planned Parenthood office and let us "plan" your future for you!

The only way this insanity is going to end is if we Pro-Lifers unite!

Join us at MarchTogether.com. We call, email, fax, write or march for the unborn once a month, on the first Friday.

Please speak for those who can't speak for themselves.

So what are we going to do about it?

Mad Scientists in America and Gender Selection - Blogspot

We are losing major battles in the scientific and medical communities. We are losing them because we aren't taking serious the extent to which these evil geniuses will go.

Lifesite.net writes that we have begun trials for gender selection in the United States using a process called PGD or preimplantation genetic diagnosis.

http://www.lifesite.net/ldn/2005/oct/05102707.html

I've pointed out in the past how China and India have been using this method or others, like infanticide and abortion, to make sure that only men are born.

We have to stand up to the scientific and medical communities. We have to challenge our doctors and scientists to be moral people, because let's face it, many of our medical, scientific and political leaders are not moral now! If we don't put walls up around them they will go in whatever directions they want to go.

When we count the number of dead since Roe vs Wade we only count those people killed directly by abortion, not those killed in experiments and IVF or In Vitro Fertilization. If we added those people into the equation we would probably be counting into the hundreds of millions killed by doctors and scientists in the United States alone.

People of faith need to pray, and then we need to stand up for our rights to live as human beings and defend the lives of those who die right in front of us every day!!! We have a moral responsibility to do more than talk about how bad something is or hide from things because they are uncomfortable.

Joseph Mengele, the "Angel of Death" would be proud of our complacency.

"his favorite activity at Auschwitz, selecting which new arrivals were fit to work and which ones should be sent immediately to the gas chambers and crematorium. Those sent to the left, roughly 10 to 30 percent of all new arrivals, had their lives spared, at least for the moment. Those sent to the right, usually 70 to 90 percent of all new arrivals, had been condemned to die without even a passing glance from their judge and jury at Auschwitz."

http://www.crimelibrary.com/mengele/main.htm

"The death factory at Auschwitz was a gruesome kingdom of human misery. Barracks and their inhabitants were inundated with the foulest of sanitary conditions. Diseases such as typhus and diarrhea were rampant, as were lice, vermin and fleas. It was over this kingdom which Dr. Josef Mengele sought to preside."

Why the horrific description? Because that was then, this is now. Now our doctors and scientists are given permission by the government to perform their gruesome experiments. Now they are given carte blanche... money, facilities and the green light by society.

"Mengele’s stated mission at Auschwitz was to perform research on human genetics. His work was funded through a grant that Professor von Verschuer had secured through the German Research Council in August of 1943. The goal of Mengele’s work was to unlock the secrets of genetic engineering, and to devise methods for eradicating inferior gene strands from the human population as a means to creating a Germanic super-race."

What do you think screening for genetic defects is? They do it now, by the millions every year. It's when they perform the PGD test and determine that a person "might" be afflicted with a genetic disorder.

"PGD is already routinely used to screen out embryos with genetic defects. Thus those embryonic children with disabilities are disposed of (read killed) prior to being given a chance to be born, a fact which has been of serious concern to groups advocating for the disabled."

This isn't a science fiction movie, this is really happening in America right now!

There is a woman in my church whose mother was told that she should abort her child because they were certain it would have a genetic defect. They pressured her to have an abortion but she refused. My friend at the church was born healthy. The "genetic" scare was wrong.

Maybe the doctors and scientists in America don't perform their actions with the same glee with which Mengele performed them, but they are performed nonetheless. Like the Nazi model, Americans are selecting newborn based on health and gender. We even one-up them by using the unborn for experimentation via stem cell research.

Around the world the horror reads like something from Nazi Germany. Not only are murdered human beings used for youth cream and burn ointment, the Chinese are experimenting with humans to grow them into replacement parts. Countries around the world don't have any moral limitations imposed on them so they pursue any experiment which unborn human beings can be used for.

If there was ever a time in American history for Americans to rise up against tyranny now is the time. In the morning when you read this, please pick up the phone and call the White House at 202-456-1111. Tell them you do not want America to choose human beings based on sex selection. Email them at comments@whitehouse.gov and vice_president@whitehouse.gov and say the same.

Then go to MarchTogether.com and see what you can do every month to help us stop the daily inhuman slaughter of innocent human beings in America.

In case you are asking why I compare the killing of the unwanted human beings in America to Nazi Germany, my mother's father was dragged into the street and shot because of who he was. I believe the comparison is valid. Jews were unwanted, used for experiments and killed. Humans today are unwanted, used for experiments and killed.

What do we say? Blogspot

In a debate, we always get asked, "what about cruel foster homes, incest, poverty, overpopulation, rape, drug addicted babies and the unwanted"?

The answer should always be, abortion kills an innocent person.

It's that simple.

Unite with us on the 4th of November for the next Call for Life at MarchTogether.com.

Call, fax, email or write your representatives and let them know that you support House Bill H.R. 552, the "Right to Life" bill.

Go to MarchTogether.com for everything you need to know in order to participate in the next Call for Life.

If the Senate offices get smart with you and tell you "that's a house bill", tell them "that's right, don't you think it's time the Senate got working on a "Right to Life" bill?"

You can also march on your local government buildings with MarchTogether.com posters. We have the free graphics on the web site for you to download and print. Kinkos will laminate two pictures back to back for about $5.00.

We will be at the Supreme Court in Washington DC from noon to 2:00 pm on the 4th. Meet us there every first Friday of the month. We have signs for you.

Rosa Parks and Planned Parenthood Blogspot

Rosa Parks died today at the age of 92. I wish she would have become an advocate for the unborn, but instead she was a Planned Parenthood Board of Advocates member. (Click here to read Planned Parenthood's praise of her service.)

If she had read the history of PP, formerly known as the “American Birth Control League”, I doubt she would have supported the same organization whose founder, Margaret Sanger, was a proponent of racially motivated eugenics.

"Sanger: We Must Limit the Over-Fertility of Mentally, Physically Defective"

In her book, "The Pivot of Civilization", Sanger wrote, "Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying ... demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism."

Julianne Malveaux from Women's News explains, "This book, written in 1922, was published at a time when scientific racism had been used to assert black inferiority. Who determines who is a moron? How would these morons be segregated? The ramifications of such statements are bone-chilling."

Let's look at two more Sanger quotes (there are a few more you might want to read later):
"We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal.

We don't want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members."
-- Margaret Sanger's December 19, 1939 letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble, 255Adams Street, Milton, Massachusetts. Original source: Sophia Smith Collection, Smith College, North Hampton, Massachusetts. Also described in Linda Gordon's Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America . New York: Grossman Publishers, 1976.
"Our failure to segregate morons who are increasing and multiplying ... demonstrates our foolhardy and extravagant sentimentalism ... [Philanthropists] encourage the healthier and more normal sections of the world to shoulder the burden of unthinking and indiscriminate fecundity of others; which brings with it, as I think the reader must agree, a dead weight of human waste. Instead of decreasing and aiming to eliminate the stocks that are most detrimental to the future of the race and the world, it tends to render them to a menacing degree dominant ... We are paying for, and even submitting to, the dictates of an ever-increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all."
-- Margaret Sanger. The Pivot of Civilization , 1922. Chapter on "The Cruelty of Charity," pages 116, 122, and 189. Swarthmore College Library edition.

How many people go to their graves never knowing the truth about the roots of Planned Parenthood and abortion in America?

Rosa Parks was bold, decisive and outspoken. If she had joined pro-life efforts we might not have abortion today.

This article indicates that "Black women, who comprise less than 16 percent of the female population in Michigan, obtained more than 38 percent of all abortions."

Rev Rev. Johnny Hunter says:
"[Abortion has] killed more blacks than the Ku Klux Klan ever lynched," Rev. Hunter is the national director of Life, Education and Resource Network (LEARN) in Virginia Beach.
Black women are three times more likely to abort than white women and twice as likely to have abortions than Hispanic women, according to data from the Alan Guttmacher Institute.

Rest in peace Rosa Parks. You were a brave woman during a difficult time in America. I pray that many brave women in America stand up against abortion now.

Blogspot - Religious Nut?

Someone asked me "why do you have to be a religious nut to be Pro-Life"?

You don't

The Pro Life movement welcomes all those who are for Life and against abortion. I just happen to be a "religious nut" Christian.

If you are Pro Life and believe abortion must end you should join our efforts at http://www.MarchTogether.com regardless of my religious affiliation or personal beliefs.

I may not agree with your choices and pray that you choose different ones, but you have the right to be a homosexual, an atheist or whatever.

I choose to be a Christian.

The bigger question is how do we unite to defend life? We agree that this is an important issue right? We can debate our disagreements another time in another place.

I will defend the lives of all human beings on this planet, because in my religion we are all God's children and have a right to live.

I am defending the rights of all of those whom I disagree with to be born. I am defending the rights of all those who oppose me to be born.

I am an equal opportunity Pro Lifer :)

No matter what you believe, no matter what your party, join us at http://www.MarchTogether.com and unite with us to end abortion.

Comment - The Common Room: News and Views: The Miers Nomination

The Common Room: News and Views: The Miers Nomination

The question we have to ask about the Miers' nomination is do we have to pick a woman to replace a woman on the Supreme Court?

Let's look at this from a combat perspective. If you have a difficult situation to tackle, would you pick a woman just because you want to be politically correct? Of course not. You would pick the best person for the job, and the best person MIGHT be a woman, but shouldn't be picked because she IS a woman. If a commander picked a woman because he had to, he might just be sending her to her death.

The politically correct atmosphere in America has gone overboard. Affirmative action and the Equal Rights Amendment force employers to hire possibly unqualified individuals because of their race and sex which causes our corporations and military to become less effective. On top of that, since people are selected because of law and not qualifications don't have to meet the requirements in order to qualify for jobs, school and the military, they aren't pressured to live up to the standards which those positions require.

I don't have a problem with these kinds of "catch up" laws to be implemented for a short time, but I believe that so many years later, the time is over.

Harriet Miers is not qualified to sit on the Supreme Court. To use the excuse that other, more qualified individuals refused the nomination for fear of being attacked by the Democrats, or because other Republicans feared they would be too fiercely challenged is all the more reason they should have been selected for the office.

In my opinion, President Bush should have picked Janice Rogers Brown, who definitely counts as one of the most qualified people in the United States to serve on the Supreme Court. She just happens to be a woman.

Blogspot - Feminists support Abortion?

The Feminist movement was taken over by proDeath women who believe that killing their children is more liberating then doing what women are supposed to do, namely deliver their children into the world.

Susan B. Anthony, one of the first women in America to challenge the dominance of men openly and to get arrested for doing so, knew what abortion was and wasn't shy about telling us.

In her publication The Revolution, was written:

"Guilty? Yes. No matter what the motive, love of ease, or a desire to save from suffering the unborn innocent, the woman is awfully guilty who commits the deed. It will burden her conscience in life, it will burden her soul in death; But oh, thrice guilty is he who drove her to the desperation which impelled her to the crime!"

Abortion was referred to as "child murder."
The Revolution, 4(1):4 July 8, 1869

"We want prevention, not merely punishment. We must reach the root of the evil...It is practiced by those whose inmost souls revolt from the dreadful deed."
The Revolution, 4(1):4 July 8, 1869

"All the articles on this subject that I have read have been from men. They denounce women as alone guilty, and never include man in any plans for the remedy."
The Revolution, 4(1):4 July 8, 1869
Source: Feminists for Life

ProDeath individuals love bringing up the fact that around 80% of the women who have abortions are "religious". They may claim to be "religious" but I don't think God smiles every time a woman kills her child.

Women have been sold the lie that killing their children in the womb is liberating, that they have exercised their freedom of choice. Unfortunately most know while their child is being killed and afterwards that they will suffer forever.

It's not all bleak though!

For those of you who have had abortions, pray to God and ask him for his love, salvation and forgiveness. He will give it to you. He is an equal opportunity God and doesn't pick and choose whom he will save. As long as we ask for his forgiveness and try our best to be with him in our thoughts, our prayers and our daily lives, he gives us the gift of everlasting life!

As for you men out there who didn't speak out in support of your wives and girlfriends when they were struggling with pregnancy, and you did nothing to help them. If you denied them, you were cowards who allowed the women to suffer and kill your children. You will continue being a coward until you face the crime you committed.

Just in case you think you aren't good enough for his forgiveness and blessings, nobody is, but he gives us a pass anyway.

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23

For those of you who are struggling with thoughts of abortion, seek help. There are thousands of agencies out there waiting for your phone call. If you call an abortion clinic, what do you think they are going to offer you? Counseling? Think again. They will convince you that you will be better off killing your child. If you go to a barber shop, you will get your hair cut. In Virginia contact http://www.birthmothers.org/, nationwide contact http://www.care-net.org/.

Whatever your shame, whatever your burden, whatever your guilt, anger, sadness, frustration or suffering...pray and you will be healed. Your cares will be lifted from you as if they never existed and you will be free to pass God's love, his salvation, and forgiveness on to others.

Jesus comes to us every day and asks us if we're ready. It's up to us to turn to him and say "yes, I am, please help me".

Are you ready?

For those of you who are ready to stop the horrible crime of abortion, which kills one of God's children every 30 seconds, join us at http://www.marchtogether.com. On the first Friday of every month we call, fax, email, write or march at government buildings to let our representatives know we aren't going away and we will grow in our numbers until they make abortion a crime, as it should be. Abortion is murder, not a "choice" and to do nothing to help end it is to support it. It's like watching someone getting killed right in front of you while you turn your head so you don't have to watch.

Join us in the Monthly Call for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com and challenge others to do the same.

Blogspot - Pro Life Regardless with Letter

Here is the complete letter I received from Senator Warner. I only included part of the text from the letter in my post on ProLifeBlogs.com.

Click here for the 2 page letter. It is over 1MB big and can take at least 5 minutes if you use dial-up for your internet connection.

Every month, one of the things we do to participate in the Monthly Call for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com is email our representatives, which is certain to elicit a response by letter from a state representative. One of our state representatives is a Republican, so we expect to get the token "we're doing all we can to end abortion" speech.

Not this month.

Senator John Warner from Virginia has a message to us proLifers which strengthens my argument that proLifers can't just push the R button and expect Republicans to end abortion, we have to speak out against abortion no matter what party is in office.

The direction of many Republicans is demonstrated by this statement in the letter:

"I believe very strongly that our goal as a nation should be to reduce to the extent possible the number of abortions that are performed in our country."
"reduce" Sound familiar?

President Bush has also brought up the "reduce" word too. He has not pushed forward any kind of abortion ban and has even commented that our hearts weren't ready for a ban. I'm glad he has spoken out against partial-birth abortion, and has helped push laws to end this evil practice, but it can't end there. Abortion is wrong at every stage of development, not just late in the pregnancy when the person is more developed.

Other points about President Bush, Republicans and abortion here:

http://dutyisours.com/50+a.htm

and here:

http://www.issues2000.org/George_W__Bush.htm

Mrs. Bush has also become a master of what I consider to be the new "proLife" lie.

In a 2004 interview she was asked if she was proLife to which she responded "Yes, I think abortion should be rare.".

http://www.ifrl.org/IFRLDailyNews/040823/2/

Rare, not illegal

Here is her answer to whether or not Roe vs Wade should be overturned back in 2001

"No, I don't think it should be overturned,"

When asked about abortion, Condoleezza Rice stated it should be "as rare a circumstance as possible," although without excessive government intervention. "We should not have the federal government in a position where it is forcing its views on one side or the other."

http://www.washtimes.com/national/20050311-115948-2015r.htm

The new "I am proLife" position is that abortion is bad but we shouldn't do anything to stop a person's right to choose if polls don't support a total ban on abortion.

Abortion is not a party issue and I believe it never has been. I believe if we don't demand an end to abortion now, the issue will get buried in a quagmire of sliding scales of morality.

We can't lose the main fact in the abortion debate.

Abortion is intentionally killing a human being

What if previous injustices were framed the way abortion is today? Let's look at moral issues that have been dealt with in the past.

Civil Rights

Just because the majority of people in the world supported slavery in the past doesn't mean it was the right thing. As a matter of fact, slavery is still in use in other countries around the world.

http://www.infoplease.com/spot/slavery1.html

Just because the United States, England and other countries have stopped slavery doesn't mean we have ended it everywhere in the world.

"At this moment, millions of men, women, and children—roughly twice the population of Rhode Island—are being held against their will as modern-day slaves."

We ended slavery in America not because our polls showed Americans were "ready" to stop slavery, but because it was the right thing to do.

All the way up to the 60s blacks in America were considered second-class citizens. They had to sit in different areas, drink from different water fountains and were murdered and beaten because of their color. It took determination and sacrifice to end the extreme racism in America. Martin Luther King Jr. and other brave Americans, white and black, marched for freedom, even in the face of death, anger and violence.

Who will march for the unborn?

Jewish Holocaust

Germans killed and used Jews for medical experimentation by the millions. Did Germany take a poll and decide that this was wrong? No, as a matter of fact, if America hadn't intervened, almost every Jew in Germany would have been killed!

Abortion

America is a Republic, not a Democracy. The difference is great and unfortunately is not taught well enough in school. We don't watch the winds of change to decide morality. We don't say that we are now more "modern" and that what was wrong in the past is now right just because a couple hundred years have gone by. Our leaders are supposed to defend the defenseless, help the helpless and feed the hungry, regardless of what opinion polls show!

If a representative doesn't say that abortion needs to be banned completely don't believe he/she will stop it. They will make the claim of "proLife" to get elected and then specify what they really mean by that when they get into office. The proLife movement has been manipulated by politicians for too long and it's time to stop believing them!

Every time you look at your watch I want you to know that every 30 seconds a person is killed by abortion in the United States.

There are such things as a moral absolutes. Racism is wrong. Anti-Semitism is wrong. Abortion is wrong.

Abortion was wrong in the past, it is wrong now and will be wrong in the future.

It's time for us to put the "move" into the proLife movement and speak up for life on a regular basis. Our Senators are changing their direction and we need to let them know that we don't want them too!

Here is the rest of the absurd "proLife" response by Senator John Warner:

"I am opposed, however, to a constitutional amendment that would criminalize abortion because there is no consensus among the American people that such language should be added to our Constitution. The legal prohibition on abortion will no better bring an end to abortion then the prohibition on alcohol worked in the 1920's.

As former education Secretary Bill Bennett has noted, to bring an end to abortion, we must first change public opinion and the conscience of America".
To compare abortion to alcohol consumption shows how so many people do not accept that a person in the womb is a living human being.

Abortion is the death of a human being, it's not broken bottles or booze pouring down the sink.

"I believe there are people of good faith on both sides of the abortion issue. In fact, the views on each side are so sincerely and deeply held that it will only be when the two sides really start listening to each other and talking to each other that we will ever make real progress in reducing the number of abortions in the United States. I believe that we must respect the convictions of those opposed to abortion and not force them to support this procedure involuntarily through their tax dollars. To that end, I have voted to prohibit the use of federal funds to pay for abortions except in cases involving rape, incest, or to save the life of the mother".
I don't believe there are people of good faith on both sides of the abortion issue. I believe that one party has fought tooth and nail to defend abortion and that the other party has fought to minimize abortions, though they haven't, for the most part, fought hard enough to make abortions illegal.

I believe the only way we are going to get all our representatives to understand that we want them to end abortion is by speaking up about it. Join us in the Monthly Call for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com. Call, email, fax, write or march in support of Life once a month on the Call for Life day, which is the first Friday of every month. Our voices will get louder and louder through our proLife unity!

If you don't take action for the unborn, if you just watch it all happen, then you are turning your back on 4,000 people who die every single day. I say to all of you who know abortion is murder, speak out and stand up for the unborn. They need you. They cannot do it themselves!

Stop debating. Stop arguing. Stop wasting your precious time on those who just want to challenge you. Spend your time figuring out what more you can do to help the many proLife groups in their proLife efforts. Also join us in the Monthly Call for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com.

Blogspot - We can run, but we cannot hide

The only way to affect change and prevent the complete moral degredation of our culture is for us to unite and speak out against the things we disagree with and vote for people who support the things we believe in. We must do both. Simply voting people into office is passive. It only involves pushing a button, and then we are tempted to turn away and believe we have done our part to solve the problems of the world. We must speak out when there are extreme situations which need addressing, like abortion, which will not go away without our involvement.

Without our active involvement and participation, moral entropy will overwhelm us, one issue at a time.

Did you hear about the storefront display at Victoria's Secret last month in Tysons Corner, Virginia? After major outcry from local family groups they unwrapped the rope from the mannequin's arms and changed the girl on girl action a little, but otherwise it is still basically the same. This is a display that is wide open to the public as they go walking by the store. I stood there for about 10 minutes taking pictures and watching people walk by. Almost every single head from passers-by turned toward the display, including children's heads.

Here are some pictures I took from the front of the store. You will see that this display is right in the open, not hidden in the store.

Click here for the rest of the pictures. Some of the pornographic manniquins even have angel wings on them.

As the saying goes "sex sells".

European nations are the leaders of the secularist movement. Amsterdam has had display windows with women in them for many years. The scantily dressed prostitutes displaying their "product".

Most of the issues many of us consider immoral are already legal over there. As a matter of fact, speaking out against homosexuality in some European nations and Canada will land you in jail where you will be branded with a hate crime!

At the Super Bowl here in America we had the scene of exposure by Janet Jackson for titillation and to push the envelope a little bit further. It caused a temporary setback to the secularist movement since so many came out in outrage after her breast cover was intentionally ripped off right in front of 5 year old Johnny sitting on the couch watching the game with dad. It was only temporary though. The secularist movement goes on.

Secularists are pushing the envelope every single day.

> They are slowly but surely removing Christ from the public square
> Children are suspended for praying in school
> They tried to stop a 5 year old child from displaying a picture he drew that had an image of Jesus on it in a public school

http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=46920

> Children were suspended for handing out candy canes in school

http://www.lc.org/newsletter/lib/2003/lib0403.htm

> Children are taught that Intelligent Design is a lie and Evolution is the truth
> Children are being politically and socially manipulated in our public schools.

My daughter received a lesser grade on a high school exam because she didn't answer a question the way the teacher "taught her". My daughter said "why did you mark this one wrong, it is an opinion question", to which the teacher replied, "yes, but it's not what I taught you". When I was outraged by this and was ready to go to the school and complain my daughter stopped me. She was afraid if I did so they would give her more bad grades.

A man was arrested for "refusing to leave a scheduled meeting with officials at the Estabrook Elementary School". "Parker said he wouldn't leave unless the officials agreed to provide parental notice of lessons about homosexuality and gave him the option of pulling his child out of the classes".

http://wnd.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=45594

Arrested.

Thrown in jail.

With handcuffs.

Just because he wanted to be notified when the secularists were going to indoctrinate his child with a book on homosexuality.

The Superintendent of Schools, Paul Ash announced he was ordering all teachers NOT to notify parents when discussing homosexual relationships with schoolchildren.

Why did this happen? Was Mr. Parker just some psychotic anti-homosexual Christian nut who decided to go to school and complain about a possible homosexual conspiracy? No, "The dispute began last spring when Parker's then-5-year-old son brought home a book to be shared with his parents titled, "Who's in a Family?" The optional reading material, which came in a "Diversity Book Bag," depicted at least two households led by homosexual partners".

It's not enough that the schools want to indoctrinate our children, they want us to participate!!!

There is no such thing as neutral, at least not without observation from both sides. One statement I've heard many times is "don't legislate your morals on me". The ultimate goal of the secularist movement, which has achieved power in our schools, our unions, our government and other positions of influence in America, is to remove morality as a gauge. Secular humanism doesn't have morality borders since morality is a religious "hangup." Abortion, Euthanasia, pedophilia, polygamy, beastiality, homosexual/transgender/bi-sexual marriage...these are all going to be legal soon. They will be legal if nobody stands up against them.

Extreme?

NAMBLA, the North American Man/Boy Love Association has this to say:

"NAMBLA's goal is to end the oppression of men and boys who have mutually consensual relationships."

Think about that the next time you send your boy out to play.

As far as Euthenasia goes, who would have thought that a moving, awake and aware person could be killed in the public square? That's what happened with Terri Schiavo. They said she was in a vegetative state, but anyone who saw the videos knew it was a lie. Who was in control of the whole series of events which led to her murder by starvation?

Secular Humanists.

Secular humanists who believe we should be able to choose and allow others to choose our moment of death made the decision for Terri that she wanted to die. Her husband's attorney is a member of the Hemlock Society, an organization which believes you should be able to kill yourself when you want to. The "leading medical witness in the case, Dr. Ronald Cranford, "was the leading medical voice calling for the deaths of Paul Brophy, Nancy Jobes, Nancy Cruzan, and Christine Busalucci, all of whom were brain-damaged, but not dying."

Everywhere we look we see the moral deterioration of our great nation.

When was the last time you watched daytime cartoons? Many are hate-filled, angry shows presenting kids who are greedy, selfish, angry, spoiled rotten and have no respect for anyone. My son was turning into a brat when we decided enough was enough. We now make sure the shows he watches are decent shows, ones that have values, morals and try to instill confidence, kindness, morals and values, instead of hopelessness, violence, manipulation and hate. (okay, so there is the occasional Bugs Bunny & Tom & Jerry).

What is offered to adults in "prime time"? Desperate Housewives, The Sopranos and other violent and sexually charged shows.

What is a Christian supposed to do? So many are retreating to Homeschooling to avoid "school books" like "Who's in a Family", the book that Mr. Parker's son brought home. Many aren't able to though, so their children are left at the mercy of the secular school boards and teachers. The same school boards and teachers who support Planned Parenthood and their agenda of turning sex into nothing more than a simple physical act which humans enjoy. They consider sex a right at all ages, and anyone who speaks out against them is a religious extremist. I won't say "right-wing" or Republican, not because that isn't what they would typically add to that statement, but because so many Republicans today are going the way of the secularists! How many times have you heard "fiscally conservative, morally liberal" lately?

Yesterday I asked a man if he was proLife. He paused for a second and then answered "yes, I am". I later asked him if he was a conservative Republican and he said yes. Then we got to the topic of abortion. He stated that he believed in life as soon as it is born, not when it is still in the womb. I was stunned. "Why don't you support the life of the person in the womb?" I asked. He responded that Life begins outside of the womb and added that if you removed the fetus from the womb it couldn't live on its own. "If you placed the fetus on the floor it would die, but if you set a baby on the floor I could pick it up and take care of it".

The term "Pro Life" is being redifined more and more every day. Some present the argument that abortion is proLife. This person at www.abortionisprolife. com makes this case. He uses a quote from Ayn Rand to present his material and follows with a video and article by Leonard Peikoff who states that "Abortion Rights are Pro-Life".

Red is blue, up is down and good is bad.

These are the kind of strange discussions I have almost all the time. Nowadays I don't waste a lot of time and breath on these types of debates. I accept the fact that the person I was debating has his opinion and I have mine. It's just that I don't want people with his opinion of life and death being in control of life and death of other human beings, namely yours, mine, our children and our grandchildren.

We have major battles to fight in America. We need to unite to fight them. Our voices have to speak out as one so that we can be heard. There are other great organizations who take on many different issues, but MarchTogether.com was set up to handle the topic of abortion. It doesn't matter what denomination you are, if you are proLife, unite with us in our effort to end abortion.

Until we unite and demand that abortion end, 4,000 people will die every single day in America.

I challenge every one of you who has gotten to the end of this long article to take the next step and become active in the proLife movement. At the top of MarchTogether.com you can find other proLife organizations, most of whom have joined the MarchTogether.com project. Research and pick one of them if you want. Even if you pick another organization, join us in the Monthly March for Life anyway.

We will end abortion through our united proLife voices.

Sorry to Bother You

Message from proLifer:

I understand your passion and having seen the fire in your eyes, I know you are serious about working hard at the goal of ending abortion.

Now that I've had a chance to look over your site, I have a better feel for what you are advocating people do. It sounds like you just want to bother people into change. There is a way to approach people that doesn't leave them more angry about your position than when they met you. I don't think this is that way.

My Answer:

I don't want to "bother people into change", I challenge people to speak up against abortion on a regular basis.

Many great proLife organizations like Abort73.com and other proLife individuals have God's calling and address specific needs in the proLife community. There is also the need for us to unite in a common message though, and that is the reason for the MarchTogether.com project.

If a person or organization gets "more angry" at my message, they probably aren't interested in joining us anyway. We at MarchTogether.com are not trying to change the hearts and minds of people as so many are doing with great success nowadays.

MarchTogether.com is for those who have already decided that abortion is wrong and we need to do more to end it. Thirty two years later and almost 50 million dead speaks for itself.

We need to unite and there is nobody else trying to accomplish this goal. As far as I know, MarchTogether.com is the only proLife organization dedicated to the unification effort while simultaneously working on establishing monthly activist efforts to help bring our voices to all levels of government.

The question I ask proLifers is "should we end abortion or just talk about how bad it is?".

If we are not doing something specific to end abortion besides voting in proLife representatives, it won't end. On the federal level we must demand an end to Roe vs Wade, and on the local and state levels we must demand an end to abortion and abortive practices.

There are also many other issues we must deal with, like embryonic stem cell research and cloning. These battles must be fought with our united voices on a consistent basis or we will be completely overrun by an out-of-control scientific and medical community. Instead of starting up a separate organization to challenge each of these issues, we at MarchTogether.com believe it is better to join together, frequently, in a united message of life.

Join us in the Monthly Call for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com. Call, email, fax or march with us on the first Friday of every month until we have won this battle.

Abortion won't end on its own. The unborn need someone to march for them, they won't survive without us.

Back from the Con!

I'm back from the GodBlogCon which was held in La Mirada, California. It was great to get together with so many diverse people of different faiths in the Christian community. The concept was to unite people of Christian faith who are bloggers and who help represent the word of God through their blogs, hence the name GodBlogCon. How often can you get so many people of all faiths together without every conversation disintegrating into a theological debate?

From the Christian proLife perspective, Timothy Ruchti from prolifeblogs.com wasn't able to make it, but I was there representing MarchTogether.com and Michael Spielman was there
for Abort73.com.

I accidentally left my wireless cards in Virginia and wondered how I was going to be able to post the daily blog, but I decided it was for the best since it allowed me to focus more on the conference.

I met respectable and knowledgeable people of faith who were sincerely interested in the proLife movement. Perhaps proLife efforts will be represented next year, even if the designated speaker doesn't show up. Michael Spielman from Abort73.com certainly has enough knowledge and experience and could easily have represented us. Not that I'm incapable, but MarchTogether.com is set up primarily as an activist organization who challenges other proLife organizations and individuals to get involved in a Monthly Call for Life. I could have tailored a message that would have been specific to the proLife movement in general though. Yes, I could have avoided turning it into "my event".

Many people at the Con quickly realized I am a very outspoken individual. I believe God is challenging us Christians to do more then just check the R box on a ballet. I believe if that is all you are doing to help end abortion you are not doing enough. I believe God is challenging us to do everything we can to help save his children and your fellow human beings from the cruel fate of abortion.

How many times have I heard "the aborted children are going to heaven" or "even if Roe vs Wade were overturned today that wouldn't stop abortion" from the Christian community"?

Too many times

These messages and others like these which are stated so frequently in the Christian community are out of place. They project a feeling of helplessness and undermine the efforts of those of us who put so much of our time into stopping abortion.

Many people say my message is harsh. I agree it is, but not any more harsh then when a child is thrown in a trash can, in a clinic or outside of it! People say it is "my cause" and that others don't have the passion to end abortion like I do. I say 4,000 will die by abortion today, as they do every single day. If you don't have the passion, find it.

It was understandable that people got upset when the terrorists struck us on 9/11. The outrage directed at this event, and at others since and before it are proper feelings. After all, if we don't pay attention the past, we are condemned to repeat it. We need that same outrage against abortion if we are going to stop it!

Join the Monthly Call for Life or don't, that is your decision. The next Call for Life day is November 4th. Show up and call, fax, email or march if you want to join us. We will be there no matter what.

For those of you who are so angry at me you just want to yell in my face or totally ignore me, why don't you have that same anger against abortion?

Abortion is not going to just go away. It will take determined, united and coordinated efforts to stop abortion.

I'm sorry if you are not sure where you stand on how much you want to do to help end abortion. Marchtogether.com is not for those who are in the decision phase, we are there to help those who know abortion is murder and who want to help do everything possible to end it.

Join us once a month in the Monthly Call for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com where we contact our local, state and federal representatives and challenge them to end abortion. You have many choices of things you can do to help, some of which include calling, emailing, faxing or marching on a local government building. Pick the one that you would like to do and come back on the first Friday of every month to do it.

Perhaps you want to volunteer? Maybe you want to join a different organization like Operation Rescue?

If you are unsure, keep researching different proLife organizations until you find one you want to unite with. There are plenty of them and we all want to end abortion. You can go to http://www.marchtogether.com and check out the links at the top of the page.

I was glad to see a proLife Democrat at the Con. Abortion is not a party issue, it is a life issue.

The Case for Evolution

I'm just making a play on the headline of T-Rex at http://www.quinnell.us/.

This is one of his blogs today:

-->
The Case Against Evolution
Really, the only evidence against evolution is the fact that these intelligent design/creationist people exist. That is pretty strong evidence that we haven't evolved.

-->

My Response to him:

You are so witty, you must be a real cut-up at the parties.

Think about this. You liberals believe in abortion right? Therefore you are killing your offspring and will be in the minority, which you already are, as a political party.

Lucky for you we at http://www.marchtogether.com want to save your liberal babies as well as all the others.

If we didn't do this, you would succeed in killing the majority of your offspring, who as a result of said murder wouldn't be able to pass on your "theory" of evolution to others.

Interesting...you would unbreed (my word for liberals supporting abortion) yourselves out of existence!

How's that for evolution? If we let you do what you wanted to do, people like you would no longer be around to misinform our children by "teaching" them we come from pond scum.

That's ironic, you're making a case for evolution that will cause people who think like you to disappear from the earth...kind of like your name - T. Rex.

:)

Help end abortion through the Monthly Call For Life at http://www.marchtogether.com. It doesn't cost anything and you don't have to donate anything except for your time. Write, call, email, fax or march with us on the first Friday of every month.

How we lose the morals war

The problem with conservatism is that many Republicans aren't in the club. I'm sorry if I offend those of you who claim to be Republicans.

This is probably the third article I've written on this subject but the RINO (Republican in Name Only) issue comes up frequently.

Dick Morris has taken it upon himself to represent moderates from both parties by bringing Condoleezza Rice to the forefront as a possible candidate for president in a race against Hillary. The problem is, Mrs. Rice may be a Republican, but she's not a conservative.

One of the best examples is Arlen Specter. It's hard to believe there would be a Republican in office who would want to make sure that the right to kill our children through abortion is protected by Roe vs Wade. There are plenty of people like him in that camp though.

Rudolph Giuliani
George Pataki
Condoleezza Rice
Laura Bush
Arnonld Schwarznegger
President Bush (current)

What do these people have in common? All of them support Roe vs Wade and the right to have an abortion. Mr's Bush even said:

"No, I don't think it should be overturned," Mrs. Bush told NBC's "Today Show" when asked about the high court's decision, Roe vs. Wade.

The only one who hasn't come right out with a public statement that Roe shouldn't be overturned is President Bush but he certainly hasn't been a very strong proLife president. He even made this statement in 2003:

"I don't think the culture has changed to the extent that the American people or the Congress would totally ban abortions,"

We didn't elect him to the office of president to read tea leaves and see where America stands on the issue of abortion. We elected him to lead our country and do what leaders are supposed to do with injustices like civil rights violations and abortion, namely take up a position against them and do everything within their power to stop them!

The first question a Republican should be asked is "Do you believe Roe vs Wade was a bad law and should be overturned?". There are plenty of other issues where so many Republicans today are "morally liberal", but abortion is the main one in my opinion.

So many Republicans today are "fiscally conservative, morally liberal". I would rather have it the other way around.

When money is more important than morals, our leaders will look for ways to end our lives sooner to avoid the cost of keeping us alive. When money is more important than morals, babies will be selected based on "viability" to avoid hospital expenses. Do you want an insurance company to determine the life and death of you or your family?

This is not far-fetched conspiracy theory.

> The March of Dimes came under fire for trying to reduce the number of birth defects by encouraging abortion.
> Doctors around the country already recommend abortion for children they believe may have birth defects.
> Embryonic stem cell research, currently funded to the tune of billions of dollars in America, kills human beings in order to learn how to use unborn humans for possible cures.
> In Europe, countries have passed laws allowing the murder of children and toddlers whom they believe have incurable ailments. Children up to 12 years old are allowed to commit suicide.

We don't want to lose the morals war. It is literally a matter of life and death!

Help end abortion and join us in the Monthly Call for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com. It shouldn't matter who is in office. Vote for proLifers, but don't let it end there. It's been 32 years and still 4,000 people a day die by abortion.

Baby Found in Trash Can

Or should I say another baby was found in a trash can? I saw the trailer on the news this morning but I didn't see where it was found, so I decided to search on that topic.

Have you ever done a search on "baby found in trash can"? I got 5,580,000 possible results on that search at yahoo.com!

I believe abortion has caused many woes in society because we have become desensitized. How can we be sensitive to things like abused children when we accept the killing of children in the womb?

Yesterday O'Reilly talked about a man who was released from jail in Wisconsin. He was released after 5 years or so after having served time for raping 2 children. After his release he raped another child and is headed back to prison. He received an 8 year sentence and will probably only serve another 5 just to head back into society and do it again.

Tossing our children in trash cans has to be one of the most unbelievable things we can do as human being. It ranks right up there with killing them in the womb or partial birth abortion.

If people of faith don't speak up about the things in society which should remain immoral they will become moral. Secularists will turn wrong into right. They already have with abortion haven't they?

A ruling 32 years ago which says we have the "right to privacy" and kill our children at any time during our pregnancy proves my point doesn't it?

Help beat abortion, one of the most heinous crimes against humanity. Join us at MarchTogether.com

Why Unite?

I know this may seem like an obvious question, but why should proLifers unite? Okay, so that seemed like a really dumb obvious question, but if it is so obvious then why don't we consistently do so on a regular basis?

The Annual March for Life is the biggest yearly gathering of proLifers from around the world but it is only once a year. Even though it is only once a year hundreds of thousands still gather on the anniversary of Roe vs Wade, not in celebration, but in protest of the law that kills 4,000 human beings a day in the United States.

Here's some info about last years march from lifesite.net:

The 31st annual March for Life began at noon with a rally in front of the
White House. In addition to the address by President Bush given by phone,
several Congressmen addressed the massive crowd including: Sen. Sam Brownback
(R-Kan.) and Reps. Christopher H. Smith (R-N.J.), W. Todd Akin (R-Mo.), Todd
Tiahart (R-Kan.), Steve Chabot (R-Ohio), Jim Ryun (R-Kan.), Melissa Hart
(R-Pa.), Mike Pence (R-Ind.), Ron Lewis (R-N.Y.), Roscoe Bartlett (R-Md.), Rick
Renzi (R-Ariz.), Steve King (R-Iowa), Thaddeus G. McCotter (R-Mich.), Michael C.
Burgess (R-Texas), and Patrick J. Toomey (R-Pa.).

Pro-life leaders from all 50 states as well as those from France, Italy,
Poland, Ireland and Britain were in attendance at the march. Washington Cardinal
Theodore McCarrick and some 20 bishops joined in the actual march to the Supreme Court building.

Don't you think that's amazing? Isn't it amazing that so many leaders gather from so far from all over the world for this one common cause, namely to end abortion?

What's more amazing is that our left-wing media doesn't report 5 minutes on this event which has taken place since 1974. The most they ever do is ask the few proAborts who show up how they feel about the possibility of their "right to choose" being taken away from them.

Why unite? Because that is what we have to do if we want abortion to end, and we need to do it more than once a year.

Marchtogether.com was put together to unite all of us proLifers once a month on the first Friday of the month in order for us to call, fax, email or march with posters to show our leaders we aren't getting quieter over time, we are getting louder!

Abortion is not a marchtogether.com issue, it is a humanity issue. Talking about abortion does nothing, telling our representatives it is wrong challenges their morality and decency. Standing up and speaking out consistently sends the message that we aren't going away until they get rid of abortion.

Tell everyone you know about marchtogether.com. Challenge your friends, church, family and neighbors to get involved and to speak out against the daily murder of so many around the world, and 4,000 a day in America alone. Join us on the first Friday of every month and do your part. It only takes 15 minutes. Don't leave this to someone else to do. It is your responsibility as a human being and God's child to do something to help other human beings and God's children.

We aren't seeking public or web funds and aren't asking for mailing lists from anyone. We have one purpose, end abortion as soon as possible.

Don't wait for another 50 million people to die, do something now!

October March at the Supreme Court

Thanks to all of you proLifers who participated in the October Monthly Call for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com. We will end abortion through our proLife unity, our voices, our emails and our feet on the ground!

My wife and I kicked off the first "boots on the ground" part of the Monthly March for Life. We marched in support of Life at the Supreme Court on Friday. Okay, It's not really marching, we stand there for a couple of hours talking with people about the proLife movement and hold up our Monthly March for Life signs.

Click here for pictures of the day

This part of the Monthly March for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com is new but is just as important as our other efforts which combine to give united proLifers around the world the oppportunity to speak out with one common message, namely end abortion now!

We unite monthly to email, fax, write, call or March for Life. You choose what you would like to do, as long as you do something to help. We march at the government buildings of our choice from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm to let the world know we are getting stronger in our message to end abortion, not weaker!

Friday and Saturday were the two rainiest days in 30 years here in the Washington area, but we knew we had to march for those who couldn't march for themselves. The civil rights movement was represented by people like Martin Luther King Jr. and others, but the babies in the womb only have us. Obviously they can't march for themselves.

We arrived at the Supreme Court at around noon and got a parking place right next to it. A short time after we were on site with our signs, some girls came up to us and starting talking about their project. Their group, Bound4Life at http://www.bound4life.com/ believes that "The only way abortion will be stopped in America is to mobilize massive prayer, voting, and activism that will strike down legalized abortion and bring compassion and justice to the orphan and the widow."

Their spokesperson Bethany said that they meet every day for one hour from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. We certainly agree that to end abortion action is needed as well as prayer. She also said that the age range of their group is 17 - 27.

If you like their method of Pro-Life activism don't hesitate to join them, but please also consider joining us in our united Monthly Call for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com.

We were excited to see other proLife people at the Supreme Court! I know there are many people and organizations around the country who are active, like Bound4Life, Choose Life and the many others we link to at http://www.marchtogether.com. It is great to see the Pro Life movement growing in so many different ways.

We at MarchTogether seek to unite all of us Pro Life individuals and organizations under one banner once a month for the common cause of ending abortion. March Together does not seek funds through the web site and does not approach anyone from other proLife movements for funds. We don't seek access to or desire control of your mailing lists either. We only ask that you and your supporters join us once a month in our Call for Life at ttp://www.marchtogether.com.

I give my gratitude and prayers to all of you who are already involved in the movement to save the 4,000 human beings who are killed every day. To those of you who haven't gotten involved yet, we need your help. Your silence is part of the reason why so many people are killed by abortion. I know it is a harsh statement, but is it not true? If you disagree with abortion but do nothing to stop it you are supporting the proAbortion movement.

Speak up and speak out against abortion!

Today is the Call for Life Day!

Hello Friends of Life,

Today is the first Friday of the month and the Call for Life day at http://www.marchtogether.com.

It is also the first time we will be physically marching on government buildings or the location of your choosing. In Washington DC we will be at the Supreme Court. The weather is not looking too good but as of this moment (8:00 am) we are still going. Stay tuned to the web site because if it gets too nasty out there we will postpone until next week. The march will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and we will have extra signs available.

To make your own signs, check the information at the bottom of the page.

Look up your initials on this page http://www.marchtogether.com/callforlife.htm if you haven't already done so and find your time slot to call and/or email. If that time slot doesn't work for you, pick one that is best for you. If you are traveling, bring the phone numbers and/or email addresses with you so you can participate on the road.

All the information you need to complete your Call/Email for Life is on that page.

I have attached two flyers. One is the general flyer without dates which you can print out and distribute to your church or anywhere else you can think of. The other is the reminder for today's Call for Life. If for some reason the flyers don't make it through, the address where you can find them is http://www.marchtogether.com/2005/index.htm.

If you need any help let us know.

Make it a point to send the http://www.marchtogether.com link to at least one person on this Call for Life day.

We will end abortion through our unity, determination and God's help!

If you have any suggestions pass them on. If you know individuals who are involved in the proLife movement and they can list the site, please ask them to do so.

When we have succeeded in ending abortion, over 4,000 people a day will live due to your actions today.

Make the calls, send the emails and march if you can.

DC Festival this Weekend

The Washington DC Festival with Luis Palau is this weekend. We are looking for volunteers to help pass out flyers and cards for the March Together project to end abortion through proLife unity located at http://www.marchtogether.com.

It's easy to do. Go to the March Together web site at http://www.marchtogether.com/2005/index.htm. We have graphics for flyers, posters and business card size Life Cards. It is all free for download and for you to use in a way which properly supports the proLife cause and the March Together for Life movement.

We are not soliciting funds and you won't find any advertisements or links to advertising except for when you follow a link to another proLife site which might be soliciting funds for their own project.

We are also seeking web developers and graphics specialists to help us keep things up to date. Send an email to volunteer@marchtogether.com. No previous job experience required.

Miers Nomination

The Strata-Sphere brings up the issue of the Miers nomination from the perspective that anyone who opposes her must be stuck on a "pet issue" or maybe because we believe we are smarter than President Bush.
Actually from all appearances she seems to have a proLife view, which happens to be my "pet issue", but Miers doesn't have one percent of the qualifications necessary to sit on the United States Supreme Court.

Nominating her to this position, one of the highest honors in America, based on her friendship with the president shows that President Bush is acting as dictator of America, not as an elected representative.

Judges who deserve nomination to the Supreme Court are those who work, appropriately enough, as judges in real courts somewhere in America. They usually work there for many years, building the experience necessary for a position such as Supreme Court Justice. Just because you are the pal of a president doesn't mean you have the credentials for one of the highest legal positions in the land.

This insult to American conservative judges is outrageous. Nominating "stealth" individuals will cause our conservative judicial representatives to go underground for fear of being labeled too conservative.

On the other hand, liberal judges wear their policies on their shirt sleeves with honor. Ruth Ginsberg proudly proclaimed her support for a "woman's right to choose" and many other liberal issues and was approved without a problem.

The Republican base is conservative. President Bush is not. He is succeeding in fracturing a party which has enjoyed a large number of political gains in a short amount of time.

I will continue to vote Republican because the alternative parties do not come close to representing what I believe.

Regardless of who is in office, join us in the Monthly March for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com. We do everything we can to get proLife representatives into office, but we have to take the next step and demand that they end abortion. It shouldn't matter who is in office anyway, abortion is murder and we have to do everything possible to stop it!
The next Call for Life day is tomorrow, Friday the 7th of October. Go to http://www.marchtogether.com and join us. It only takes 15 minutes of your time and it will help save millions of lives.
This Friday is the first Monthly March for Life as well. Click on the March for Life link to get more information on that.

My Two Cents

This is what it comes down to, it doesn't matter who is in office, we proLifers have to unite and let our representatives know it is time to end abortion.

Thirty Two years and countless elections later, and 4,000 human beings are still being killed daily.

I challenge any one of you to tell me one single bill that is being debated that will end abortion. After all, Congress is supposed to create laws aren't they? So, name me a bill that is being debated right now in this 109th congress which will end abortion.

I understand why we vote for proLifers, but it doesn't do any good if we don't hold them accountable for their lack of action against abortion does it?

Join us at http://www.marchtogether.com. Tell everyone you know about the project. We proLifers have the ability to stop abortion if we unite and speak up.

You don't think marching and speaking up for what you believe in will have an influence? Tell it to Rosa Parks.

October the 7th is the next Call for Life at http://www.marchtogether.com. Do something, don't just talk/type. Even if you are already involved in a proLife movement, is there such a thing as doing too much to stop the murder of the thousands of children every day?

Special Message

Thirty-one years ago this past Thursday, on January 22, 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court legalized abortion in the infamous Roe v. Wade decision. As Christians, we need to remember that what is legal is not necessarily moral in God’s sight. Morality is not determined by popular or judicial opinion, but by what the Bible says. So I want us to look at what the Bible says about abortion. I could (and have, in a public school classroom) argue against abortion without reference to the Bible. It is a human atrocity. But since most of you accept the Bible as God’s inspired Word, I want to explain what it says on this important subject.

Some who call themselves “evangelicals” argue that since the New Testament does not directly address the matter, we should not be dogmatic about it. They say that it is a “difficult moral issue,” where we need to allow room to differ and not impose our personal views on others. Many evangelical pastors refrain from speaking on the subject because it is controversial and potentially divisive. And many pastors dodge it because they have drifted from the Bible as the source of absolute moral truth.

Christian pollster George Barna recently reported that only half of the country’s Protestant pastors have a biblical worldview, which he defined as believing that absolute moral truth exists, that it is based upon the Bible, and having a biblical view on six core beliefs (the accuracy of biblical teaching, the sinless nature of Jesus, the literal existence of Satan, the omnipotence and omniscience of God, salvation by grace alone, and the personal responsibility to evangelize). Southern Baptist pastors ranked highest, with 71 percent holding to a biblical worldview. Among other Baptist pastors, it fell to only 57 percent. Other denominations ranked much lower.

I believe that the Bible gives us God’s absolute moral standards that apply to every culture and every age. Furthermore, the Bible warns that God will judge every person based on His righteous standards (Acts 17:31; Rev. 20:11-15). We cannot plead ignorance as an excuse for disobedience or apathy (Prov. 24:11-12). God holds us accountable to the standards of His Word, whether we know those standards or not. We dare not be uninformed!

Also, our consciences need to be informed by Scripture, not by popular opinion or slogans. I have found professing Christians who have been influenced by the popular pro-abortion rhetoric. For example, the slogan, “Pro-family, Pro-child, Pro-choice” makes perfect sense to some, or it wouldn’t be plastered on bumper stickers. But stop and think, “What is the choice that they are advocating?” The answer is, the choice to kill your baby! So that bumper sticker is about as logical as saying, “I’m pro-women, pro-rape”! It is utter nonsense!

Another bumper sticker reads, “Against abortion? Don’t have one.” That assumes that abortion is a personal preference, not a moral issue. Imagine a bumper sticker, “Against rape? Don’t commit one”! That’s fine if rape is just a preference, but if it is a heinous crime, that’s ludicrous! Another slogan says, “Keep your laws off my body!” In other words, “We can’t legislate morality.” But we do have laws against rape, incest, child abuse, theft, and murder. Those are moral issues, all of which stem directly from the Bible! One of the main purposes for law is to protect the innocent and the weak. Laws about abortion relate directly to these matters.

Before we look at what the Bible says about abortion, let me briefly comment on what abortion is and on what the Supreme Court decision was all about. Abortion is the extraction or expulsion of the immature human fetus from the mother’s womb with the intent to end the life of that fetus prior to natural birth. Fetus is a perfectly good medical term, as long as you remember that it refers to a developing human baby. But you will never hear abortion advocates speak of it as a baby or child. Sometimes they even call it the “product of conception,” or a piece of tissue! Have you noticed how often the news refers to anti-abortion activists (not pro-life activists), and refers to those advocating baby-killing as pro-choice or defenders of abortion rights? How did we ever come to think that we have an inherent right to kill our children?

Of course many abortion advocates argue that it is not a human baby that they are killing, but science is against them. Before conception, there is not a new human life. But at the moment of conception, there is a new life, possessing 46 chromosomes, distinct from both the mother and the father. Genetically, the baby is not the mother’s body! By 21 days, the first heartbeats have begun. At 45 days, brain waves can be detected. By the ninth and tenth weeks, the thyroid and adrenal glands are functioning. By 12 or 13 weeks, he has fingernails, sucks his thumb, recoils from pain, and has his own unique fingerprints. The only things that developing life needs to become what we are, are time and nurture.

What was Roe v. Wade all about? By a vote of 7-2, the U.S. Supreme Court held that until a child in the womb is viable (capable of sustaining life outside the womb) or “capable of meaningful life” (the court reckoned this to be six or usually seven months), the mother’s desire for an abortion should take precedence over the baby’s right to life. For the last two or three months, the court said that the state may protect the unborn, but that it must allow an abortion if the life or health of the mother is threatened. The court defined her “life or health” to mean her physical, emotional, or psychological health, her age, her marital status, or the infant’s prospects of a distressful life and/or future. In other words, a woman can kill her child in the womb legally for any reason right up to the moment of birth!

According to former Surgeon General, Dr. C. Everett Koop, the most common reason for abortion is convenience. Only three to five percent of all abortions performed are for reasons of rape, incest, the possibility of a deformed child, or severe threat to the life of the mother. In the U.S., one out of every six women who have an abortion describes herself as an evangelical Christian (Newsweek [5/1/89], p. 31). In other countries, such as China and India, where male babies are favored over female babies, the abortion and infanticide of girls has led to a severe shortage of brides for young men.

Now let’s consider what the Bible says about abortion:

Since God is the creator and sustainer of human life, we should value and protect the lives of all innocent humans.

By saying “innocent humans,” I am allowing for the authority of the state to exercise capital punishment and to wage war for national defense. Being pro-life does not require us to be against capital punishment or to be pacifists. For sake of time, I cannot deal with those topics in this message. I want to present five lines of biblical evidence for valuing and protecting unborn children.

1. Human life is unique in that God created us in His image.
In Genesis 1:26, God distinguished humans from the rest of the animal creation. Only of man did God say, “Let us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness.” He appointed man to rule over the other creatures on earth. By the way, apparently before the Flood, man was vegetarian, but after the Flood, God ordained the eating of meat (Gen. 9:3-4). The animal rights movement erroneously puts animal life on the same plane as human life. That concept stems from Hinduism, not from the Bible.

The Bible clearly affirms that human life is not the product of impersonal chance plus time. Man did not evolve from lower forms of life. God directly created man in His image, which means that we have the capability of rational thought, personality, and moral responsibility. Someone may argue that this is simply a matter of faith. I would say that it is a matter of reasonable faith. The view that something as complex as human life is the product of pure chance is a matter of unreasonable faith, because there is simply no evidence or other example of such complexity arising from random chance.

Also, even the most ardent evolutionist behaviorally affirms that human life is distinct from animal life. Imagine Mr. Evolutionist driving along when he encounters a squirrel in the road, still writhing from being hit by a car. He slams on his brakes, jumps out of his car, and frantically dials 911 on his cell phone. “I’d like to report an injured squirrel! If the paramedics get here quickly, they may be able to save him!” But, alas, they are too late! The man sits by the squirrel corpse, sobbing, until the mortuary arrives. He will never forget this tragic scene.

Ludicrous? Yes, but change the squirrel to a human baby and that scene would be truly horrific. Why? Because we all recognize that people are distinct from animals. The reason, according to the Bible, is that people are created in God’s image; animals are not.

2. The Bible forbids us from shedding innocent blood.

The Bible clearly commands, “You shall not murder” (Exod. 20:13). As already mentioned, the Bible does not forbid all killing, such as in capital punishment by the government, national defense, or personal defense. But murder is forbidden. The Bible uses the phrase “innocent blood” about 20 times, and always condemns shedding innocent blood. God chastised the Jews for shedding innocent blood when they sacrificed their children to the idols of Canaan (Ps. 106:38). As John Piper argues, “Surely the blood of the unborn is as innocent as any blood that flows in the world” (Brothers, We are Not Professionals [Broadman & Holman], p;. 222).

3. Pre-natal human life is fully human and thus precious to God.

Consider a few of the many biblical passages:

A. God superintends life in the womb (Ps. 139:13-16).

David is affirming in poetic language that God superintended his formation in the womb (also, Job 10:8-12). The Bible repeatedly affirms that God’s providence governs everything from the weather (Ps. 148:8; Job 37:6-13), to animals’ food and behavior (Ps. 104:27-29; Job 38:39-41; Jonah 1:17; 2:10), to seemingly random events, such as the rolling of dice (Prov. 16:33). Surely if God governs these relatively minor things, then He also governs the formation of people in the womb. The Lord tells Moses, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes him mute or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?” (Exod. 4:11). So even birth defects, which science attributes to freak occurrences in nature, are under God’s direct superintendence for His sovereign purposes!

There are so-called bio-ethicists that are consistent in applying their evolutionary bias to human life, but their conclusions are horrifying! For example, James Watson, one of the discoverers of the double helix structure of DNA, suggested in 1973, “If a child were not declared alive until three days after birth, then all parents could be allowed the choice only a few are given under the present system. The doctor could allow the child to die if the parents so choose and save a lot of misery and suffering. I believe this view is the only rational, compassionate attitude to have” (cited by Francis Schaeffer & C. Everett Koop, Whatever Happened to the Human Race [Revell], p. 73).

In 1978, Watson’s partner, Francis Crick, said, “… no newborn infant should be declared human until it has passed certain tests regarding its genetic endowment and that if it fails these tests it forfeits its right to live” (ibid.). Peter Singer, who incongruously is professor of bio-ethics at Princeton, argues that if a child is born with hemophilia, to allow the parents to kill him so that they could replace him with a normally healthy child may be morally right (cited by Piper, ibid., p. 217, note 3)!

B. The Bible ordains the penalty of life for life when the life of an unborn child is taken (Exod. 21:22-25).

The earlier edition of the NASB had an unfortunate translation that slanted the reader toward one of two possible interpretations, but not to the best one. The updated edition has corrected the problem. The earlier edition read, “And if men struggle with each other and strike a woman with child so that she has a miscarriage, yet there is no further injury, he shall surely be fined as the woman’s husband may demand of him….” The translators added the word “further” and they interpreted the Hebrew, “her children come out,” as, “she has a miscarriage.” The implication would be that to kill the fetus is only punishable by a fine, nothing more.

The updated edition reads, “… so that she gives birth prematurely, yet there is no injury….” As the following verses (23-25) make clear, if there is an injury, then the offender must be penalized, life for life, eye for eye, etc. These are the same penalties as in offenses against adults (Lev. 24:20). The Hebrew verb translated “to depart” or “come out” (Exod. 21:22) refers to a live birth in 11 separate Old Testament passages. It never refers to a miscarriage, although in one text (Num. 12:12), it refers to a stillborn. There is another Hebrew verb that is used for miscarriage. So the most likely meaning of Exodus 21:22-25, based upon verb usage, as well as the Old Testament high regard for pre-natal life, is that the baby in the womb has as much value as an already-born person.

C. The Bible affirms the distinctiveness of individuals in the womb, thus showing that they are fully human.

We won’t take the time to look up each reference, but consider the following examples:

*Jacob and Esau were distinct individuals in the womb (Gen. 25:23; Rom. 9:11-12).

*Samson’s mother was not to drink wine, because her son was to be a Nazirite, who would abstain from alcohol (Judges 13:3-5).

*Jeremiah and Paul both acknowledged that God formed them in the womb and knew them by name (Jer. 1:5; Gal. 1:15). Isaiah 49:1, 5 affirms the same thing about Messiah.

*John the Baptist recognized Jesus while both were still in the womb (Luke 1:35-36, 39-44)! This is an amazing text! Elizabeth was in her sixth month of pregnancy when Mary conceived Jesus by the Holy Spirit. Mary went to visit Elizabeth before John was born. Thus Elizabeth would have been in her last trimester, while Mary was in her first trimester. Yet John recognized Jesus in those early months of Mary’s pregnancy! I think that this is the strongest passage that a baby in the womb in the first trimester is a person created in God’s image. We are not free to take the life of such a child just because it is not convenient to have a baby!

We have seen that human life is unique in that God created us in His image. The Bible forbids us from shedding innocent blood. Pre-natal human life is fully human and thus precious to God.

4. To view babies as inconvenient to the point of killing them is to violate Jesus’ view of children.

As I mentioned, about 95 percent of all abortions are done for convenience. A girl gets pregnant through out-of-wedlock sex. Neither she nor her boyfriend are ready for the responsibility of being parents. It would be an economic hardship, or it may require interrupting her education. An abortion is a convenient way to dispose of the whole problem.

In Luke 18:15-17, people were bringing their babies to Jesus so that He could touch them. The disciples rebuked the parents. Jesus had better things to do than to bless babies! It was a great inconvenience! But Jesus rebuked the disciples and welcomed the children. The Greek word for infant in Luke 18:15 is the same word Luke uses for the infant in Elizabeth’s womb (1:41, 44). God shows His great love for us by calling us His children (1 John 3:1). Surely, we should have the same attitude as Jesus towards our children from the time of conception onwards!

But what about an “unwanted” child, whose birth would be an extreme hardship? What about a baby conceived by rape or incest? What about a deformed baby, who will suffer all his life and never be normal? Wouldn’t it be the lesser evil to abort these babies and spare them and the parents a life of hardship and pain?

5. To kill babies in the womb in an attempt to avoid suffering is to try to dodge God’s purposes for suffering.

The Bible is clear that in this fallen world, God ordains suffering for His wise and good purposes (Rom. 8:28). Sometimes we suffer as the consequences for our own sin (Heb. 12:3-11), which can include the hardships associated with having a baby out of wedlock. (Sometimes it may be wise for an unwed mother to give up her baby for adoption, but even that is a painful consequence of sin.) Sometimes we suffer on account of other people’s sins (Gen. 50:20). This would include the hardship of having a baby conceived through rape or incest. Sometimes we don’t know the reason that God permits suffering, except that He wants to display His grace and power through our weakness (2 Cor. 12:7-10).

To abort because having a child would cause emotional or economic duress is always wrong. To argue that it is better to kill a deformed child in the womb than to allow him to live is an affront to the thousands of people born with severe handicaps, but who live meaningful and productive lives. It is an affront to the many families that love and care for such children. On rare occasions, there may be the difficult dilemma of performing an abortion to spare the mother’s life. But even then, the goal should be to preserve the lives of both the mother and the child, if possible.

Conclusion

Much more could be said if we had time. There are other biblical arguments against abortion. There is mounting evidence that many women who choose abortion suffer severe long-term emotional and physical problems.

I want to conclude by suggesting some action points. Some of these are things that every Christian can and should do. Others are things that only some will be called to do. But at some level, all of us need to come to the defense of unborn children.

(1) We can pray about the situation. It is ultimately a spiritual battle (Eph. 6:10-12). Pray for pro-life judges to receive Senate confirmation, especially to the Supreme Court. Pray for the horrors of abortion to become obvious to our self-centered culture. Pray for Christians to get involved in the pro-life cause.

(2) We can vote for pro-life candidates. Don’t vote for pro-abortion candidates. You ask, “Are you a one-issue voter?” I grant that being pro-life does not qualify a person as a good political leader. But being pro-abortion should disqualify anyone from public office. For example, if a candidate said, “I believe that black people should not hold public office,” that one issue should disqualify the candidate from office. Why doesn’t favoring killing babies disqualify a candidate? The person who favors abortion is an immoral person!

(3) We can write our legislators and the newspaper to support the pro-life cause. Hold them accountable!

(4) We can support the pro-life cause with our money and time. Godly women are needed to counsel young women with problem pregnancies, so that they choose life for their babies. Godly families that are able should consider taking in such young women and helping them carry their babies to term. There are many ways to get involved.

(5) Our church should discipline any members who advocate abortion, perform abortions, or obtain abortions in disobedience to being counseled about God’s truth on the matter. It is a national tragedy that two of our former Presidents, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, both claimed to be Southern Baptists, but were pro-abortion. Their churches should have disciplined them publicly.

In conclusion, I want to speak to any who may already have had an abortion or who may have urged someone else to have an abortion. Perhaps you did it in ignorance, but now you realize that you committed a serious sin in God’s sight. The great news of God’s Word is that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” (1 Tim. 1:15). The apostle Paul, who persecuted the church and was responsible for the deaths of many innocent people, wrote that, and then claimed, “among whom I am foremost of all.” Paul found God’s forgiveness and mercy at the cross. No matter how great your guilt, if you will turn from your sin and trust Jesus Christ as the one who bore your sin on the cross, God will pardon all of your sin and credit the righteousness of Jesus to your account (Rom. 4:4-5).
